I ordered some stuff to be shipped expedited. The Mint sent it Fedex Smart. They then delivered it to the Post Office and they delivered it. Took a total of 5 Days. I have never had any deliveries like that

Not a bad guess. They must have two presses working on them..... the latest NN / Numismaster article mentions they are planning up to 300,00 coins depending upon collector demand.
Same article mentions over 40,700 sold in the first 4 days.

Wow, I ordered in the first 15 minutes and the ship date is now 2/14 yet if I ordered today it would be 2/13. Makes a lot of sense to me. Not. How do you explain being "In stock are reserved" for days and then changed to backordered? Did some politicians and their friends get moved to the head of the line?
Gold and silver are valuable but wisdom is priceless.

I called the mint @ exactly 11:58 got a low order #30826xxx (very low) & I was bumped to 2/6/09 I would say no one will have or none will go out before 2/06. & we'll see if that even happens.
