Completely off topic here. Christmas morning my 1 month old daughter woke up around 4:30 for her bottle. I let my wife sleep and I got up with her to feed her. After her bottle she refused to go back a sleep so she and I sat in the livingroom with me rocking her. I turned on the TV because I needed something to watch (I have posted messages before at that time, and they never really make much sense later on. Never post when half asleep). For once I decided not to watch Sportscenter and tried to find something else. I wound up watching 'A Christmas Story' on TBS.
On my second viewing of the movie I noticed something. At the very beginning of the movie, Ralphie and his brother are getting out of bed and on Ralphie headboard he has 3 baseball cards attached. One looked like a 1933 Goudey and I think that the other two were T206's.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Could anyone (who has more computing knowledge than myself) post a pic of these cards?
Oh yeah, I wouldn't bad mouth Mitch Webster, its a known fact that he reads this. I wouldn't want him mad at me. I'm just saying
There was a thread on net54 and I think we ahd one here about cards that make appearances in movies. I believe you are correct on the Christmas Story cards.
i did see the t cards that was the first time i had ever noticed them. that was a cool touch for the movie.

I am still having issues with my computer so it is running a little slow. I actually enjoy that second or two delay after I click on the sub #. Every time I get that delay, it gives me a little adrenaline rush thinking the grades are about to pop up.

I like to shink the window so that I only see a few lines the page, then slowly creep down the page to see if the magical "Line # Item # Cert # Grade Description Type Country " line is there.
Alright, I looked one more time. Now I think I will go to bed just so I can get up at 5 AM CST to check it again just in case our grader is pulling a triple shift.
<< <i>Does PSA send an email when the order is shipped? >>
Yeah but it is usually a day or two after the grades have popped. They could save some time by not sending the emails. It's not like we don't check it every 10 minutes.
<< <i>Of course, I have those feelings every day when I have a sub in limbo... >>
I just got my 5th 2 second thrill of clicking on the sub number and having the delay due to slow computer. It's awesome even though it always says the same thing.
