Folks, I don't have many needs left - just a single black back #34 (for my second black set).
However, I would like to move my ad panels and chromes and get them to a good home. I will take any random SPs in return. I also have many older heritage base and insert needs listed on my signature link. Specifically I could use a 2007 sp of 312 redsox, 130 manny.
Has anyone else found the centering to be terrible on Heritage or did I just get a bad run of cards? For some reason I keep getting #485 SP and centering is 75/25, or worse, side to side on all four and centering is poor on probably 20% of all the cards I've gotten. Will Topps replace cards because of the centering?
With the arrival of the trashy mustache (Kent, for those of you scoring at home), my Dodger black refractors are done! Guess I need to go after the regular /559 refractors, too. I think I'll also go after blacks from previous years - I have Ethier and Delwyn Young from '07 on the way. I'll most likely show 'em off here since this is the current Heritage thread.
I don't know if anyone said this or noticed, but it looks like in hobby packs, it goes semi-SP (greenback) sixth in the pack, SP or insert seventh and blackback last (eighth)

Does anyone have an extra Perez Cameron Maybin HDP2 the would be willing to trade? I bought 2 WalMart blasters and a lot of 4 Perez cards on eBay, and that is the only card I'm going to need to complete that insert set. When the eBay lot arrives, I'll have an extra Ortiz, Fielder and Lincecum that I'll gladly trade for the Maybin.
I had everything sorted, then I went on a retail bender. Toys R Us has blasters. Their 4 pack bonus pack has a black back and three base cards.
I still need a C23 LaRoche black refractor and a Mazeroski Clubhouse Collection.

Looks like the thread has started to slip into obscurity. Thought I'd bump it and show off a few nice imcomings from the past few weeks - 2 from '07 and 2 from '08.
I picked up the 2nd Minoso from the Bay. The striped one comes from Doran, who very generously decided that my collection would be much better with a striped Minoso than a plain one. Huge thanks to Doran for that gesture!

Im back in town after a nice vacation. I managed to stay heritage free for most of the trip, but did hit 8 blister packs on the way home that had nothing in them.

I'm down to needing nineteen ad panels, with thirty unopened panels to come from two eBay auctions. Once the Reds go on the road next Tuesday, I hope to list my duplicates for trades.
Back in 2006, I found myself two sp's short of the set, Ben Sheets and Troy Glaus.
Fast forward to 2008, and I'm two sp's short again, 427 and 496.
I don't have much to trade outside a handful of chromes and a few clubhouse collection cards, but if anyone has these two extras, I'll find something you need or be happy to paypal you some money.
Guys i could use some help with a Heritage card. I collect vintage and know nothing about this issue. A friend pulled a Clubhouse Collection Yogi Berra. It is autographed 17/25 and has a jersey/pants swatch, i can't remember which. I checked ebay but couldn't find any listed. Any idea on the value, she offered it to me for $150. Sorry if this question has come up before.
Nice card, Stuart. You're right, there aren't any current or closed auctions to compare that exact card. However, to guage the price, you could compare a couple of closed auctions for the red ink /59 autos, which have closed at around $135 apiece. I did a quick eBay search for similar /25 autos of other players.
I was stupid enough not to pick up Doran's Zito black refractor and had to go out and wait for one to pop up. Sure enough, two show up at the same time. Don't want to get both, so I pick one to bid on. I win it and than....
