A few random additions to my collection...

Andres Galarraga: The Big Cat! Owner of the nicest smile in baseball. A cancer survivor too, which probably put more substance behind that smile. 2 time winner of TSN's Comeback Player of the Year award (93, 00).
    image

John Franco: #4 on the all time Saves list with 424 (behind Hoffman, Lee, and Rivera). Also 2 time winner of the Rolaids Relief Pitcher of the Year Award (88, 90), and 3 time winner of TSN Reliever of the Year Award (88, 90, 94).
    image

Ruben Sierra: when I was a kid, this was his key rookie. A great start as a power hitting base stealer, but that didn't quite last.
    image

George Bell - 1987 AL MVP
An upgrade to the PSA 9 Topps rookie I had of him. Since he won the MVP for a Canadian team, why not use the Canadian card? image

    Some new additions...

Andre Dawson - 1987 NL MVP; 1977 NL ROY; future HoFer?
    image

Willie Stargell - Inducted to the HoF in 1988; 1979 NL MVP

And this sweet looking card... (perfect corners, much better than the PSA 9 I used to have, should cross nicely)

Wow Randy - right around that time we were patrolling on these rather flimsy "whalers" - the "Mike" boats we had were much safer at 75' and metal to hide behind. Night time was especially spooky!

and the "mike" boat - LCM8:

The Say Hey Kid puts me at 90% complete for this set. I will post a better picture than this ebay pic once it is in hand. Damn centering on these hi-numbers....I dont think I did too bad on this one. I almost pulled the trigger on a very OC one a couple of weeks ago. Glad I held out.
