    I'm not that much "old school" but I do check in from time to time and read up. image It has been awhile though- and just think, this thread made me login to. Oh well, Still collecting but have switched and been buying more of the diecast.

    i was disappointed to see the open forum was no longer open

    great to see a bunch of the older CU traders coming around every once in a while

    I've been out of the hobby for a long time, but I'm trying to get back in...I really just want to figure out what fair secondary market prices are so I can sell my card collection...there's things I want to buy and bills I need to pay and I have thousands of dollars worth of sportscards sitting around, I've been afraid to sell them since I don't know what fair prices are, I don't want to give people amazing deals or price them too high and not sell anything >>

    I joined in November 2003. I remember my first post introducing myself and my first reply was basically chewing me out for using all capital letters. I ought to start another random thread using all capital letters just to see if I would get chewed out again!

    I remember Rube. He was something else!

    Any of you remember (I think it was) a user named Gemmymint or Gemmint (or something like that) getting into arguments constantly with one particular guy who I don't remember? Those threads were epic!

    I also remember Fanfango who used to post constantly about Pujols and make everybody mad. It always seemed weird because Pujols is my favorite player, but he would seemingly take it too far.
