I've been out of the hobby for a long time, but I'm trying to get back in...I really just want to figure out what fair secondary market prices are so I can sell my card collection...there's things I want to buy and bills I need to pay and I have thousands of dollars worth of sportscards sitting around, I've been afraid to sell them since I don't know what fair prices are, I don't want to give people amazing deals or price them too high and not sell anything >>

I have a 1961-62 Fleer Bill Russell that should be back from grading in a week or so. I'm banking on an 8 or 9 for that card. Let me know if you're interested. Peace.
P.S. Is there a decent way to look up the threads you've posted in on these forums? I'm having a hard time finding user friendly navigation paths on here.

Wow, talk about old threads. Once in awhile I see some of the long time message board members come back to the hobby after a long hiatus and they make a similar entrance by responding to some of their very old threads.
"So many of our DREAMS at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we SUMMON THE WILL they soon become INEVITABLE "- Christopher Reeve
Old threads are the best. I love when something that now seems ridiculous is in the thread, too, like...
“Oh man, I think I overpaid for my new PSA 9 86 Fleer Jordan...I talked him down to $875 but I still think it’s too much. Is someone really going to pay a grand for this card one day down the line?”
Curious about the rare, mysterious and beautiful 1951 Wheaties Premium Photos?
CDNuts was great. My favorite was probably Scumbi/PSatan.
Wonder if all those guys left the hobby, are somewhere else, or aren't among us at all anymore. I know Rube, Scoop, Dommy and AlohaET passed.

I joined in November 2003. I remember my first post introducing myself and my first reply was basically chewing me out for using all capital letters. I ought to start another random thread using all capital letters just to see if I would get chewed out again!
I remember Rube. He was something else!
Any of you remember (I think it was) a user named Gemmymint or Gemmint (or something like that) getting into arguments constantly with one particular guy who I don't remember? Those threads were epic!
I also remember Fanfango who used to post constantly about Pujols and make everybody mad. It always seemed weird because Pujols is my favorite player, but he would seemingly take it too far.
