I wonder how many members that have giveaways also give to the ANA &/or local clubs? Giveaways here are great (wish I would win one), but really, couldn't we, as a quasi-club, do great things giving to these organizations? And maybe it giving something that you think is worthless or nearly so.
I'm not talking donating coins for an auction to raise money....there have been a few great auction held to raise money. I'm talking about donating the coin.
The thumbed quarter I sent (giveaway) to astrorat (Lane) for a grading class he teaches at ANA. What a great feeling, not that I gave the coin away, but because the coin will be put to good use.....not to say regular giveaways do not make the giver & taker feel good....but maybe sometimes a giveaway to a club or organization like the ANA would be a good thing.

A noble cause to say the least, but everyone chooses to give in their own way, I choose a more personal level, rather then a organization.
