1964 MS66 Kennedy Half Dollar - $540.

Either that, or they think that butt ugly toning adds $500 to the value. image

We had four finger lids when I was a kid, Russ. You must have been getting ripped off.

    Clank,

You must have come from a rich family - or your dealer had skinny fingers.

Considering that's close to the price for a MS67, I wouldn't be surprised if $540 was the intended price.

"Buck fifty a key when I was young and dumb."

I didn't know that they sold in Ki's back then. Back in my time it was $95/LB for Mexican and $110/lb for Jamaican.

Did you ever try the Japanese weed? I swear it was blue in color (yes, that was PRIOR to embibing).

As I recall, you placed the rolled-up baggie against extended fingers--forefinger, middle, ring, etc.--and the size of the bag corresponded with the number of fingers it measured.
A very dangerous pastime. One night I very nearly lost an eye when a seed exploded.

The 1970`s was a funky decade. Trust us that lived through it, it`s very different!image Chances are a good number of cops where either smoking it themselves or selling or both. It was a rauchy time for those that wanted it. An enourmous social adjustment that your generation has no clue about. Probably never will understand either unless you lived through it yourself.image I was a kid then but, old enough to know the big difference from then and now.

Remember when a friend picked up a quarter pounder in 1983 for $200 at an away football game. He was in the band and stashed it in his drum case!
