Since NGC shows the date of grading (which is something all TPGs should do, in my opinion), I decided to check to see when all 10 of my NGC-graded coins were graded. And to my surprise these two Morgans were graded exactly 17 years apart!
Not necessarily that crazy of a coincidence but I think it’s pretty neat!

I never knew that you could determine the date a coin was graded at NGC.

I made all but two of the coins from raw coins I bought at shops and shows. The 1768 2/3 Thaler was bought slabbed at the SF International Coin show. The 1961 PF68DCAM CAC half is a Winesteven cast off I purchased from him.
Bride's idea for herself and her 2 bridesmaids. Purchased on eBay 20 or so years ago. Seller mentioned the circumstances and said he had the other 2, I thought I should keep them together for a while. Sadly, he didn't have the name of the bride.
The Italian company I work for was founded in 1927. These two coins sit in a little presentation box on a shelf in my office.

Here's a pair of St. Gaudens gold items which go together.
The Wire Rim, 1907 $10 gold. This is the look which the St. Gaudens team of artists devised for the $10 Indian. I've read that the coin would not stack properly, and that the wire rim would wear off the coin very quickly which would leave under weight.
And here is 1907 High Relief $20 gold. Sorry, I can't swing the Ultra High Relief which would be more of sister to the previous coin.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Here’s a coin, quad, with the different designs of patterns and regular issues for the volcano peso. Eventually I’ll find a suitable 1817 “no assayer” to add to the group.

@SanctionII How many of your pairs did you make yourself? I'll guess 100%? Anyway, they sure are pretty!

That's okay, those two will do.
I picked these both up on the same day. Filled the moto and no motto spots in my ANACS photo cert.
