The owner received this coin by inheritance outside of Morgantown, PA.

The 06-S has been the lowest pop half in VF for a long time. Now that was 10 plus years ago, things could have changed since and I could be talking out my butt. probably should back that up again with some actual data.

What a nice group. For me the 04-S is somewhat overrated. It's a tough coin, no doubt. But I would rank a few coins in VF-AU as tougher. In your group I would say the 01-S is your toughest. The 01-O is very tough in XF-AU, the97-O is another among others, particularly if you want a sticker. Thanks for sharing such a nice group of ladies.
Well Doc, Not a '96-S here... but here is an 1895-S Barber Half I obtained out of the ANA Summer Seminar from Front Range Coin in Colorado. I don't think I've shown this one yet...

I actually met Mike at the 2011 Fall ANA show in Pittsburgh 15 years ago. It sure doesn't seem like it was that long ago.
