I have an unc 1929 QE... check this out... die scratches? what do you think?

    Raised behind the feathers

My two cents: Planchet mark/defect not removed during the strike due to the incuse design.

It is not that life is short, but that you are dead for so very long.

Lowly VF20...but a nice Dahlonega none the less.

That obverse looks a lot better than a 20.

Nice thread, I only found it about a year ago.
There is something very special about these little QE's

@D808LF Can't get enough of that nice New Orleans gold. Looks really good what you have there!

Honestly, this is probably the denomination that I have the most examples of outside of perhaps Morgan’s…

I’m a little too lazy to go back and look and see if I have already posted this, if I have, forgive me, but I bought this back in 2020 and I consider this the most undergraded coin in the collection:

    !

Seriously looks 64, if it was mine I would get it beaned, don't crack it out imho.

Honestly, as much as I love the holder, and as little as the price increases, for me to crack that holder, I would literally have to be guaranteed a 67 which, of course, this is not… But a gold bean would look nice on the holder!

Maybe one of these days I’ll send it over… But no, I will most certainly preserve that holder. That’s actually the reason I bought the coin was because it was in one of the gold foil fatty’s. And the holder is like perfect no scratches at all to speak of.
