    Liz is great. I sold her a big chunk of my set back when I broke it up in 2015 I think. She was fantastic to deal with.

    Mike’s passion for Barber material was certainly fun and infectious. He bought a LOT of coins and could find something to like about pretty much any Barber ever made. I always appreciated him for that.

    Great to see Mike’s stuff getting some attention.

    This is a recent upgrade to my set. A very common one, but I like the look of it:

    I just got this one back from CAC Grading yesterday.

    What I find odd is that this coin was CAC'd in a PCGS holder (without variety attribution) and the "L" for Legacy is not listed, but rather a lone "3" which is an internal tracking number, coin number three on my submission form. Oh well.

    Do you know when this coin was originally given its sticker? I was under the impression that the L was for coins "CAC'd" before CACG started operations.

    The new policy guarantees that a coin stickered November 2007-June 5, 2023 will get the legacy designation so long as the numerical grade does not change.

    https://help.cacgrading.com/support/solutions/articles/151000101823-legacy-crossovers-policy

    This would expalin why the 1892 Barber Quarter did not have the "L" since it was CAC'd earlier this year, Mar 2026.

    Are any of you actively pursuing CAC stickers for your PCGS-graded Barbers?

    It is seeming like more and more the sticker is needed for attention and interest. CAC-stickered coins are blowing away CoinFacts or even CACG sticker pricing valuations anymore.

    @sedulous

    I don’t need the Barber to be stickered (probably better if it’s not for reason you mentioned), but I’m only interested in anything that is of the quality that I think could/would enable it to end up with a sticker.

    I have also purchased my last blast white Barber coin fwiw (I’m generally in the better date VF-AU range with Barbers I pursue these days).

    Did you guys see the 1895o in PCGS 58+/CAC end on GC last week? Over $2,000!

    It was a pop 1 in 58+. Was this an Everyman registry battle?

    Likely. Everyman set people are weirdos. I speak from personal experience. You don't want to know what I recently spent on a 1935 peace dollar in a CACG AU58+ slab.

    I only have one, but in the spirit of being in a vocal minority on this forum, I’ll post mine again here to show I’m against the exclusion of the noble nickel from its rightful place amongst its creator’s notable numismatic progeny.
