My old, uber original, heavily toned 1915 quarter in PF-67+ I like em when they have that deep proof set toning as opposed to all dipped out, like most have been.
Always hard to follow @Eldorado9 when it comes to Barbers but here’s my new addition a 1893 PF-67+ CAC dime leaving me with just the half to go to complete my proof type set.
It appears we now have at least two Barber Dime collectors working towards having the #1 Registry Set. A 1911-S just sold for $12,200.00. Prior to the auction starting, the bid was $2,200. A price guide showed it as being the least expensive MS67 and it was not the most common date!
Raw purchase from a show last Thursday. Shared in another thread about the show but it belongs here. I grade VF 20. Will be sent off to our hosts soon.

When I started collecting Barber Halves, the third or fourth Barber Half was a 1905 like this. Nowadays I mostly only collect AU, but I really liked the look of this coin.

Just added this coin to my circ quarter set. This DOES complete my Barber quarter set, minus the 01S!!!! Now time to work on upgrades. I am shocked that the 01P was the last coin I was needed. Does anyone else find it unusual? Most of my set is VF/XF with a few AU.

I have been having the same issues. The semi-scarce to rare stuff is easier to find out of dealer inventories (they don't bother with the cheaper stuff). The more common date stuff has been more difficult for me to obtain in mid-circulated grades... it has been that way for years. To buck that trend, I should say I just obtained an '07-P quarter that is being delivered as we speak (will see if it meets the criteria for my set - the pictures were not great). Once I get a chance to more properly photograph, I will post it here.

It sold previously on Apr 22, 2015 for $3,525.00 which was part of a NAME COLLECTOR'S SALE and later that year it sold on Dec 4, 2015 for $2,585.00.

First BQ purchase for my collection in a few months. Probably overpaid a bit for this one but I don’t see too many 08 S with this look so I pounced.
