My old, uber original, heavily toned 1915 quarter in PF-67+ I like em when they have that deep proof set toning as opposed to all dipped out, like most have been.
Always hard to follow @Eldorado9 when it comes to Barbers but here’s my new addition a 1893 PF-67+ CAC dime leaving me with just the half to go to complete my proof type set.
It appears we now have at least two Barber Dime collectors working towards having the #1 Registry Set. A 1911-S just sold for $12,200.00. Prior to the auction starting, the bid was $2,200. A price guide showed it as being the least expensive MS67 and it was not the most common date!
Raw purchase from a show last Thursday. Shared in another thread about the show but it belongs here. I grade VF 20. Will be sent off to our hosts soon.
Sweet coin, I was planning on taking a trip there Saturday but decided not to since I'll probably be going to Baltimore for the Summer show. Looks like what I would have been looking for was snatched up anyways.

Really nice find with the 1915. Boy, that just has the right look!
Nice to see that solid halves in 2x2s are still out in the wild. Great looking 1915.

1898 Silver Head comparison:
Protruding chin? check. Less pronounced nose? Definitely a little more handsome-looking. Love the bison reverse during a hunt thing...
