It's funny what gets each of us excited about in this hobby of ours. I've had the 1980 Soo Greyhounds police set and singles from it as a saved ebay search for 15-20 years now. I've never seen the whole set listed on ebay, I actually found and bought my full set on Amazon a decade or so ago. I have seen Ron Francis's first card which is also out of this set as a single listed about 3 times over that timespan on ebay and now this is the first time I've ever seen the Beezer first card out of that set listed on ebay, Just really rare stuff that only a few of us see the value in. I don't even care that is has writing in pen on the back of it. Guessing there can't be more than 25 of these left globally.
Adding to this post from a while ago. I picked up the card and was able to get it signed and got it back in today’s mail. So happy to add this to my signed collection.
These are pretty tough and undervalued IMO. Prism was only made one hockey year, and the golds are buried in collections. Happy to have this one of my PC guy:
Quirky and tough to find 1985-86 Patrick Roy placemat XRC. Reverse is the Canadiens logo. These are the same images used in the 1985-86 Canadiens Postcard set that has a Roy XRC too.
If you are a collector of Northern Europe issues, don’t forget to do a simple google search of the card you are looking for. This is one of the most Difficult HOf’er first card to find. Only 8 ever graded. Yet Found 2 recently for sale on local to Northern Europe marketplaces via google search.

That's great. I love oddball stuff like this.
Just to keep the thread moving.

Spectacular looking card! I really love the 69 + 70 Stanley Cup cards.
Very happy with this pickup!
