It's funny what gets each of us excited about in this hobby of ours. I've had the 1980 Soo Greyhounds police set and singles from it as a saved ebay search for 15-20 years now. I've never seen the whole set listed on ebay, I actually found and bought my full set on Amazon a decade or so ago. I have seen Ron Francis's first card which is also out of this set as a single listed about 3 times over that timespan on ebay and now this is the first time I've ever seen the Beezer first card out of that set listed on ebay, Just really rare stuff that only a few of us see the value in. I don't even care that is has writing in pen on the back of it. Guessing there can't be more than 25 of these left globally.

Adding to this post from a while ago. I picked up the card and was able to get it signed and got it back in today’s mail. So happy to add this to my signed collection.

If you are a collector of Northern Europe issues, don’t forget to do a simple google search of the card you are looking for. This is one of the most Difficult HOf’er first card to find. Only 8 ever graded. Yet Found 2 recently for sale on local to Northern Europe marketplaces via google search.

Beautiful card. Looks undergraded. Congrats Nathanael! Over the last 20 years I've seen 4 or 5 of these come up for sale and I've always been on the lookout. One of them was in a KSA holder, that might have made it's way to this PSA 3.5 slab. I noticed yours listed for sale by a dealer in one of the Facebook groups and was very tempted to take a run at it. Did you grab it at the recent Toronto Expo?

One of the scarcest vintage error cards, and a hall of famer as well, this Tim Horton card has been on my wantlist for a decade. Happy to pick one up.

A cool twist to this is that when Parkhurst was correcting the error, they made a tan backed version where you can clearly see the team at the printing factory at work correcting the error.

Yes- I was able to make a big trade/purchase from Larry at the recent Toronto expo for this Horton. As there are so few of these known to the hobby, it made sense for me because I've collected the set for 20 years.

Some cards are just beautiful to look at and pair the spirit of the player with a cool design. This Kovalev has it all, and is a pop 2 in a 10. With the young guns pedigree, I hope this gains more hobby love over time.

This was a card that I wanted to have signed for a while. Finally a private signing popped up for him and I sent it in. I followed the tracking back home and was pretty excited to rip it open and check it out. Imagine my surprise to see that Pierre Turgeon signed Dave Andreychuk's card.

That is truly bizarre. I mean, yes, Dave and Pierre were teammates in Buffalo but why in the world did Pierre sign it when you sent it in to have Dave sign it?

MERCI BEAUCOUP Pierre! It’s not like this card is easy to find or anything!

I sent 2 cards in to the same for 2 different signings that the promoter was doing. One for Dave and one for Pierre. Still amazed that it happened. At least I can say I have a 1/1 auto'd card!
