    Love these S mint seated halves, which in the photos has a dipped look but not as bad in hand:

    Two new submissions of mine was received by our host two days ago. In that submission are these half dollars:

    Submission #1 (requesting grading and variety attribution)

    1. A raw 1956 Type 1 Proof (IMO);

    2. A raw 1961 Proof that is a possible Cameo;

    3. A raw 1955 MS Bugs Bunny variety (IMO); and

    4. A raw 1962 Proof that is the DDO, FS-101 variety (IMO).

    Submission #2 (requesting variety attribution and reholder)

    1. A slabbed 1962 Proof that is the DDO, FS-101 variety (IMO); and

    2. A slabbed 1961 Proof that is the DDR, FS-802 variety (IMO).

    I will post results when available.

    In the meantime post some more half dollars to continue the parade further into 2025 :)

    Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

    Here are some "R5" die marriages except for the WB-4, which oddly enough is an R3. Pointing out that it is one of the more common NO die marriages in 1840 often surprises people.

    WB-1 ANACS F12

    WB-3 PCGS VF25

    WB-4 PCGS VF20

    WB-6 (R6) raw G

    WB-8 raw VF

    WB-9 raw G6

    WB-13 VF details "scratch"

    WB-14 PCGS XF45

    Here are the parade screw-ups. All out of step with reality.

    All are 1855/54's misidentified and labeled as 1855s. The last two PCGS coins have been corrected since their purchase thanks to PCGS_Hy. All of the grading services accepted by eBay are represented here. Good job, guys! These will keep me stocked with beer and SlimJims for a few years.

    Now corrected by PCGS

    Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

    A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

    A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

    It has been almost 7 months since this Parade has been active. This post will bring it into 2026.

    Here is a raw 1959 proof half cherry pick I acquired last year. It will soon be sent in for restoration and grading. Hoping it receives a CAM.
