Totally outstanding parade of coins...Boy, you've got some good one's in there. I particularly love the toned proof Franklins!
One I got for my 1959 CAM Proof Set, It didn't go CAMEO but it was nice enough for the price......

Thanks for your kind words.
The 1954 to 1960 toned Franklins were part of a set of 1954 - 1960 proof sets that I purchased a year ago from a dealer. The dealer purchased the proof sets from a collector who had purchased them from the mint in the year of issue. The collector placed the coins in the proof sets into Wayte Raymond albums. The coins remained in the albums for decades. They developed gorgeous toning.
I submitted the toned Franklins for grading last February.
The 1954 - 1960 minors are still in the Wayte Raymond albums. They are as good in not better than the Franklin half dollars. They will also be submitted for grading and Trueviewed. Once that is done the minors will take up residence in a Registry Set of toned 1950-1964 proof coins.
Here's a few.

This is a marvelous parade of half dollar coins. I like big silver, and the WLH was a favorite of mine as a kid. Did not get them often, but would spend a long time examining each one when I did get it. Cheers, RickO
The Proof Barber half and the Capped Bust halves shown in this thread are gorgeous and raise the quality of this parade from a 30 minute small town parade on the 4th of July to the Rose Parade on New Years Day.
Keep the parade going with photos of more half dollars.
@Floridafacelifter Just upped our status to Rose Parade.
I love coin parades, especially as nice as yours!
I'll join in with a coin:

As much as I like capped busts there aren't enough seated halves in this thread
Beautiful thread! I like halves too!
Now, since my error knowledge is approx nil:
^ how does this even happen?
You've got textile toning beat.
This is textile texture!
Congrats
For @OKbustchaser since he's going "modern" on us!

Great Looking bunch of Half Dollars everyone, Thanks for sharing!
@pursuitofliberty Hey - you've strayed from your CBH mission. Get back on track and stay away from the seated coins lest you grab all the good ones!

After an 8 month + hiatus the half dollar parade has resumed.
Here are some new entries in the parade, having been newly graded since Catbert's post of 8-31-2022.
Ben is still suffering from frost bite.
Feel free to post your own new entries to the ongoing half dollar parade.
Sorry, time to bring this thread down a few notches. 😉

What a great thread to bring back up 😉

Gonna flood the zone with seated halves.
WOW
Nice halfs
With all of these how come nobody can find me one of these:
1968-s PCGS PR64DCAM
1969-s PCGS PR64DCAM
1970-s PCGS PR64DCAM
Anyone?
Just need one of them

Modern PCGS graded PF64DCAM Kennedy Silver proof half dollars are likely few in number.
First of all, DCAM quality proof halves for 1964 and for 1968-1970 are very hard to find (due to production techniques in effect at the time the DCAM level of frost on coins lasted for only very earliest strikes off of proof dies as frost fade would happen and dies would deteriorate).
Second of all, the 1964 and the 1968-1970 Silver proof half dollars were produced in Gem+++ quality one at a time and were then hand placed into the OGP packaging. Unless these coins were taken from the OGP and allowed to come into contact with other things, the Gem+++ quality remains undisturbed. A PR64 coin is nice, but it has obvious flaws that drive it to the 64 level (less than Gem). I suspect that even if the type of coins you seek are present in the hands of dealers and collectors, the most likely are raw. Few would chose to submit such a coin for grading (the grading costs far exceed the value of the slabbed coin).
If I were you I would consider going to local coin shows and looking at raw coins in dealer inventories (i.e. three ring binders with pages of silver Kennedies) to see if you can find a raw coin that in your opinion is DCAM and PF64. If you find such a coin, buy it cheap and then send it in the play the grading game.
Way to go Catbert.
Your new coins are gorgeous, especially the reverse of the 1937 proof half.
There are 43 of these in the wild according to PCGS pop report
Just trying to find 1 thinking that someone on the boards knows of any. Hey it's worth a try
I do agree with going to shows and searching for one, if there were any shows close to me here in Utah!
Edited to add:
1968-s PCGS PR64DCAM POP 15
1969-S PCGS PR64DCAM POP 19
1970-S PCGS PR64DCAM POP 9
So
They are out there.................

Here is an upgrade (PF69DCAM) to the half dollar (PF68DCAM) set forth in my opening post.
Half Dollars ... my favorite!
Well, seeing as how it's been a while on this thread, I'll follow @Catbert 's lead and show a few NEWP's since August ... my first DBH in over a decade, and three lovely CBH's to join her.
