Feeling under the weather all day today. I went through nothing else until now. Picked up 3 nice bricks 1980 OPC baseball from vending back in the day.
Got a good size stack of 1970 Topps. Some NM and some MINT

I have not posted here in a while and thought I would share some new stuff I picked up the past weekend up in Canada. This time around, I came back with lots of older Hockey,Basketball and Football. I got my share of Baseball, but mostly Topps 50's and 60's. The OPC baseball this time was hiding from me for the most part. Anyways, here are a few pics. There is so much more here and will take me some time to go through it all...
Here are some Boxing which were very high end. I don't know much about them though. Also know very little about the 1937 Jack Dempsy Famous Feats. Please PM if anyone has any info on this card - thanks!
Here is a piece that a couple people told me OPC made back in the day. I have never seen them before. This is a 1989 OPC Baseball vending box. I have only seen cut card cases from 1989 and earlier with OPC. So they do exist - good luck finding them.
I read the entire original post before I realized it was from 2012.
I look for 1970-1975 OPC baseball on eBay and at the very occasional show that I attend - seems to be pretty dried up. I started 2026 needing exactly 100 for my 1971 OPC baseball set. Some needs are on eBay but prices are exorbitant or condition is poor.
I started reading this thread not knowing that it was back from 2012. OPC is a tough thing to find in high quality for sure. Are there many people here in the US trying to build OPC sets and that is why the supply is so low? Does anyone care about the OPC cards here?

Print runs for OPC were very low compared to topps. most speculate 5%-10% Demand is much lower though. otherwise OPC cards would be fantastically expensive.

For some years, OPC might have printed even less than 5% of Topps.
Take 1967 for example, which might be the toughest year of OPC to find. PSA pop report for the total graded of the first 198 cards of 1967 Topps is 98,065 cards. For all 1967 OPC, PSA has graded a measly 3,524 cards. That puts OPC at a mere 3.6% of Topps.

Love me OPCs. Have a pretty decent collection of mostly 1970's HOFers.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
They are already fantastically expensive. lol OPC Tom was way ahead of all of us on this one.
