Does the cost of the trip exceed the ROI / profit?

It must be a blast to go on these buying trips! I get the same rush when heading to the National each year which is for enjoyment, not profit.

    Long day today!

Was up at 5am and just got to the hotel.
Got in to Buffalo around 1:45, got my rental car and made my way over the border.
Met up with 2 people tonight. 1 had nothing at all worth while.
The 2nd stop was with a guy I met up with my last trip. Picked up some good stuff.
Mostly Topps/OPC full box bottom panels. I got a good amount of the stuff. Also got a box of 1991 opc to crack in the room (pulled 1 chipper)

Full day ahead of me tomorrow and should have some great success on older opc

I need a 1991 OPC PSA 10 Frank Thomas from that set if you can find one.

I wouldn't throw away any stars from that 1991 box you opened if you think
they could grade out 10's there could be some good money there. Like I said
I need a Thomas but players like Griffey and Nolan Etc. could bring in $50+ if
    they grade PSA 10.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Picked up a 1972 opc set and about 50 opc high number 1971's today.
Sorry Doug, I know that would have put the weight over in your favor but technically
it doesn't count because I didn't ship it back. Its in my carry on for the plane ride image
