Looks like Penn State is testing the Hoosiers, now trailing 20-17 in the 4th quarter. If the Nittany Lions can score to tie or go ahead it might be panic time for Indiana.

Can they drive and score a TD???
This last 5-6 minutes will be the test of their season!! If they don't pull it out there will be a logjam behind current 1st place Ohio State with that Michigan game looming ahead. November, the absolute best time for College Football when the weather gets chilly and the races get tight.

It's going to be a huge letdown if they lose, I really wanted a tilt between them and OSU with both being undefeated
Just saw highlights of the Nick Singleton 60 yard run, he got a good block that official in the center of the field!! Interesting that the "blocked" player caught him inside the 5.
Is Gus Johnson the best announcer in all of sports or what??!!

He's like the poster boy for that saying "When you find something you like to do you never have to work another day in your life." When he's announcing the excitement in his voice is great to hear, he sounds like a true fan who just happens to be in the booth.

Thinking about the Indiana game makes me wonder what Penn State would have been like if Allar hadn't gotten injured and they had stuck with Franklin. It's hard to figure out how things collapsed like they did when they were so close to playing in the Championship Game last season.
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety," --- Benjamin Franklin
Getting rid of Franklin and Allar not being the QB (sad it was from injury) made them better. They still messed up the game and have QBs on the roster that look good on combine measurements but really arent that good but are an improvement as low of a bar as that is.
Some NFL team probably does something really stupid with Allar from combine stats like the Colts did with Richardson but he wasnt very good
i don't think it would be hyperbolic to say that that was one of the best catches in the history of college football
not only the sublime vertical, extreme body control and footwork that a ballerina would be envious of, but also what the catch meant for that particular school in an unblemished season
i think i've watched it 10 times
and of course the icing was having Gus Johnson on the call, a commentator who -- let's face it -- has no equal
dude got so excited it sounded like he was speaking in tongues
Honestly that catch is getting over hyped. Its not even the most difficult catch of the day that has happened. And not to mention all the full extension one handed catches in history.
It was exciting and the PSU DB should have actually shoved him while he was in the air and put some effort into it. The win doesnt really change much for Indiana. Theyre going to drop a spot or two and even if they lost theyre still going to make the B!G championship against OSU and be in the playoffs. If they cant win out against Wisconsin and Perdue they dont deserve to be in the playoffs

Now it's Oregon's turn for some late game heroics to pull out a victory. That game is hard to figure out, the Ducks known for passing have more than 250 yards on the ground and less than 100 through the air. How did this turn into a defensive battle where both teams ran the ball??

You could look at Texas last week or Auburn with Coleman today which no wasnt game winning. But wouldnt matter anyways. It was a nice play but lets calm down with the best catch in history stuff and wasnt the most difficult catch of even the day
Coleman just made another one handed catch tipping it to himself for a TD and now a 3rd one handed catch for a 2 pt conversion. All the catches were significantly harder

Lol DJ Moore 100 passing yards and a INT in the endzone early in the game. Oregon won from a safety. Oregon is not a top 10 team with Moore at QB
Did you not watch the game? It poured rain almost the entire game. Moore won the game with A perfect pass that set his team up for the winning FG.

lol a nice play
with the outcome on the line he almost reached the level of the crossbar and snagged the game-winner with a guy draped on him. then while in midair he had the wherewithal to look at the ground and get not one, but two feet in by a matter of inches
i'm going to pour myself a glass of bourbon in your honor while i await these better catches you speak of

I think OSU has done what they needed to do. It's too bad much of the B1G sucks this year so they had little opportunity to fill out their resume.
The BIG Ten dont suck. I think they are the best conference and have proved it on the field the last few years. Other than MSU, Wisky, and Purdue, the league is stacked with solid teams. Every year they have some teams with losing records. But to have seven teams ranked and say they suck is just not right.
I didn’t say that the B1G sucks. You might be too sensitive about college football.
''much of the BIG TEN sucks''
Your words.
Yeah. Much of it. Sub par this season.
State. Wisconsin. Purdue. Rutgers. Northwestern. Maryland, Jerry Sandusky School of Love, Nebraska, UCLA. My point was that OSU has not had ample opportunities to show off against ranked opponents because the B1G is having a down year. You got eyes.
Probably half of those teams will be bowl eligible. As for Penn State, 4 out of their 5 losses were very close. Two were one point losses, and they were competitive with OSU for a half. You cant expect every team in a conference to be 7-2 or better. Not gonna happen.
OSU will play 2 games against ranked B1G teams this year.
Lets wait and see the final rankings at the end of the year. I bet it will be more than 2. Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Washington could be ranked in the final polls.
I stand corrected. I actually didn't count Indiana there. 3. I don't have faith in Illinois so I'll be surprised if that's the case. Whether it's 2 or 3 or 4, I cannot tell from who OSU's played how good they are. So for all of the strength of record advocacy that's a bit hypocritical. I'm the one who's saying it's right how it is and here's why.

Unless Texas Tech has a historic meltdown, BYU is proving their schedule played a significant role in their record.

First time in history Indiana won at Penn State. And it took probably the best TD catch of the year to do it.
