Any Over-dates Out There?

Here are the few I have. Any others?
None of these are one of those impressive over-dates. That is where they almost look like two numbers. The 1829/7 is the easiest to see. The other two I am kind of looking for the smaller chips of metal. But still I little fun to seek out.

Not sure if this is an inverted 3/3 or not. Not even sure if I have it or not, it was in my 7070 once upon a time.

Unsure if this is a true over date or just doubling. It's the only one I have.
Look good and I see some of those double/two number type.
I would think so. Mostly the same process but instead of changing the time, just changing the location.

My only one: a 1942/1 dime my grandfather pulled out of his change in the 1950s.

I have looked for the Merc 42/1 dime for a long time. No luck - well, let me clarify, no luck on one with a low price offering - AND a date that is not worn into almost unreadable condition. I will find one... Cheers, RickO
Does this count?
Neat that he pulled it from change. It was just a dime then.

Another offering: This is a cool (to me, anyway
) combination overdate and RPM--1960 small date over large date, and D/D

That's a nice looking Merc that shows the overdate well!
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
Never just a dime! This was a popular variety since WWII. In fact, being the gentleman that he was, my grandfather offered it back to the girl at the cashier who sold him the cup of coffee.
"You just gave me a valuable dime," he said as he handed it back to her for close inspection. "Why dont you keep it?"
Fortunately, she handed it back, seeing how much it meant to him.
God, I miss that guy.

Didn't know that (WWII) but I can understand that it was known. I was saying that it was a circulating dime that 9 out of 10 or more people just spent but he knew to pull it. Similar to today, those who know look for some varieties (or even silver?) but 300 million plus people in US just spend them. Just a coin.

An 1820 overdate (20/19). I like how the loop of the 9 is fairly clear inside the 0.
Maybe not so much in my photo but it is.
Note: Some lines on the holder showed up in my snap-o'matic photo. Tried to get some of the rim color (mostly got 3 o/c) that goes around much of the periphery but also the overdate to light up.

There's a funny scenario that follows this cent, 1992 date under a 1994 date.

The coin shows the rare 1992 close AM. (?)

This 1808/7 is a recent pick up.

Me too… here’s mine, it’s the lowest graded CBH that I own, but one of my faves…
Another CBH overdate fave
Seems like this thread got new legs.
Love the NEWP Tom @pcgscacgold
Those are couple of really good ones Chris! @GuzziSport
.
I didn't own this when the thread first surfaced (found this in January 2024 from Phil at EAC).
She's one of a pretty good sized group of overdates I am happy to own. And for anyone following along, I still have the 18/7 I posted back in 2022, and (note to self) I still don't have a good image of her!

I don't usually dabble in early copper, but this one seemed like a good deal for $150.

Not technically an overdate (RPD) but I just wanted a reason to post this.

So, in answer to your question, yes, they are still out there!
1720/18 Crown.
And oddly enough it is not as challenging to obtain as the 1720. This one is tied for the PCGS top pop for the date... but only 4 have been graded by our host.
