i don't trust Kansas City. but this game is their season. if they can't beat the Giants, then they certainly can't beat Baltimore (whom they play in week 4), and it's going to be all over for them before we reach October

and if a completely dysfunctional Miami team waltzes into Buffalo and beats the Bills, then we've officially entered the implausible part of the season whereby superior teams lose to crap opposition out of nowhere. it's only a matter of time before it happens.....i just hope it's not either of these games

Steady there with the logic. Like there is no crying in baseball, there is no logic in football betting. Seriously,Good Luck.

Quite a few college games this weekend with large point spreads.

I have to envision some wild parlays with ML favorites on here. 😉

Not calling it yet, have to take a closer look. But at first glance, Notre Dame at 0-2 is probably chomping at the bit waiting to pound on some team for a huge win. They are -25.5 on Saturday against Purdue.

This one might get ugly. But I've gotten stung three times already this season on large spreads with the favorite, each time Penn State. However their spread was much higher than 25.5.

I know, seems like I'm trying to talk myself into it, but this one sure seems juicy.

Oh what the yell. I'm calling it, ND -25.5 - they may cover by the first half.

Horses champ at the bit. Just FYI -- the more you know.

I'm surprised to see a ML on ND. A $100 wager, wins ya $2.50

Sure it's printing money, but it sure ain't much. I'd guess that a significant easy win wager such as this, may help ya receive more of those comps such as no sweat bets, bonus bets, profit boosts, etc. So perhaps there's some value in doing that for future wagers?

A local casinos sports book has suspended ML play on high point spreads for college football games Saturday.

I've noticed on DK and FD that on high point spread favorites, they sometimes don't offer a ML. I'm not sure if there is a specific spread number when they do that, around 40 points or whatever?

I would think a brick & mortar casino wouldn't mind letting a whale bet say 100k on a game to win an easy couple hundred bucks. So the casino loses a couple hundred, but chances are the whale may place other sports bets or perhaps go to the table games and try his luck where he could possibly lose the 100k.

Following live game odds, I have seen some odds go to -100000. Yes betting a thousand dollars gets you a buck. I mean it basically never loses. I think they allow it sort of like a comp. Really not a bad idea.

golf bets are promising (Koepka tied for the lead and Saddier tied for 16th heading into the final round)

got the Chiefs on a the back end of a live parlay tomorrow night

Notre Dame leading Purdue 56-23 going into the 4th quarter. I've got a 7.5 point cushion on the spread.

Please I'm beggin' ya, pleading with ya, one time, don't screw me again with a last minute Purdue cheap score with 2 point conversion, to wreck the spread on me. Similar to what happened on two of those Penn State games.

Do that and I promise I'll never use profanity again. Not for at least a 24 hour period.

ND doesn't kick the field goal like they should to increase the margin to 10.5

Are you kidding me? Now I'm still vulnerable. 😒

I did just make an appointment at the sports betting insane asylum just in case ND blows this one for me.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 30,553 ✭✭✭✭✭

Two straight 4th and 1, and ND can't get a friggin' first down. 😒

  • stevekstevek Posts: 30,553 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Very nice interception.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 30,553 ✭✭✭✭✭
