A bittersweet new acquisition—very excited to add this PR67+ CAC with beautiful originality and iridescence, which becomes my highest graded WLH and will serve as my type example. However, I'll be parting with my 7-coin complete WLH Proof CAC set that's currently ranked #11 on PCGS, #5 on CAC, and #3 on MyCollect. (forum thread about the set)

    Parting of the set?

Yes, I sold it at the ANA show yesterday and retired the set in the various registries this morning.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.

Those nickels look like recently struck counterfeits from China.

Although I just purchased the 1886 today, I've had the 1884 in my posession for a few weeks now.
It is definitely a contemporary carved nickel. The coin itself is a no question authentic coin and the carving technique is not modern.

@MrSpud Every coin--every coin--you show for your circulated type set is a winner! Your set will be awesome when it is finished.

As likely one of the few clad dime collectors, let me comment your dime looks nice. There is NO doubt that it's FB. Very impressive. Good pickup. Where did you find it? If it was online, I totally missed it.

I found that one in a souvenir set. Let me know if you have anything on your wish list and I’ll see what I can do. I currently have a 95D graded the same.

Thanks, I go for first impression eye appeal as my main criteria when looking for coins for the set.

    Got this graded recently

Darn I thought I was the only owner of a textile toned 1964 Kennedy Half. Beautiful coin. I'll post mine if I can remember when I get home.
