There comes a point in all of our collecting lives you just gotta bust it out and own a first edition, 1947 Red Book. I've owned them before and always end up selling them. This one I just received in the mail I am going to keep. It is fun to peruse the various types and see what pricing and descriptions used to be.

This is my 1st RED BOOK. I believe it was given to me in the mid to late 60s.

I just got this 2011 P Gettysburg Quarter yesterday
I can't find any info about the clock hours on the reverse. I really like it, just have never seen one like this before.

It's become a thing, any time my wife comes with me to a coin show we get one of these with a design we don't already have. This and a 2026 Redbook were the big haul from Manchester, NH today. That and a nice Japanese lunch across the street.

I love that design! A couple of years ago, before Gold went crazy, I got the whole set from that particular date.

I normally gravitate towards BN copper, but after @WingedLiberty1957 sending me this TrueView and auction link I fell in love with the look. Great job by the photo department in capturing the luster, especially with the obverse.

Wish I had kept mine from 1957 or so. It was pretty marked up tho.
Picked this one up from the local shop a few days ago. Fits right in with my other small gold.

Kennedys are my quest...
New gold type; I had to check & make sure, but it’s only the 2nd D (that’s Dahlonega) coin that I own:
All these “D’s” seem to be tough. This is an especially nice one conservatively graded in a CACG holder.

Love your new Dahlonega HE. Looks ‘stone cold’ original.👍
Congrats!
Perfect example of buy the coin, not the holder
Still being confused for quarters a century and a half later!

I'm pretty much bored with collecting anything else. I like to find nice brown Lincolns - key/semi key.

I was the lone bidder on this auction- it ran for several days- at $9.99 and $5.99 shipping.
