Anyone know why the new 1945 Peace dollar is listed in the non-Broken Sword production blog on Dan’s site? Seems like it should be with the other Broken Sword varieties from 1917-MCMXXI.

I spotted this in your production blog. Beautiful! I have to get one! Can you reveal the 3rd party, if it is a re-seller?

Amazing! Would be great to have a Proof / Proof-Like version as well!

    .

Somewhat arbitrary, I suppose. Quite often the catalog pages are put together before a later issue has even been contemplated. It seemed reasonable to put the "1945" in with the other WW2 date ("1943-S").
Also note that the 2022 Peace (without mint mark) was also a "Broken Sword" reverse but is listed with the "D" and "S" 2022 Peace.

The photo is about as proof-like as these will be. Over-striking a proof finish, while simultaneously changing the design significantly, usually results in a lot of host coin artifacts that remain visible.

I ordered my 1945 when unstated limit was limit was just one.
It seems I need at least one of each PEACE issued, unless its counter stamped issue.
    Not a fan of counterstamps.

Ordered a pair each of the '45 Peace (I wondered when we'd see that Peace date) and the four Ike offerings. Still waiting on the Native Head order that was delayed by coin press issues. If they don't arrive in time for a FUN show submission, no biggie. I will be pretty loaded for the show anyway and can drop at the local show a couple weeks later to ANACS.

    Question for you recent submitters.

    1. MODERN or ECONOMY for Moonlight Mint coins?
    2. Does the 1933 Gold Indian have to use STANDARD due to value?

    Thanks.

    Non- US Mint
Modern for all Moonlight Mint items, except when individual coin value exceeds $500
The 1933 Gold Indian would to go standard.

They were not sold on the Moonlight Mint site. They were made on commission by a third party seller.
They're still available with that seller: https://www.shopccn.com/product/1792-1992-bi/

One might also look for the Moonlight Mint 1887-CC Morgan Pattern at the same location in the near future. It looks to be a beauty: http://www.moonlightmint.com/blog_68.htm

I always check Dan's production blog for commissioned items made for a third party seller. http://www.moonlightmint.com/coin_catalog.htm

Has anyone posted all the ANACS pop reports for these coins? It looks like ANACS graded a lot of them but maybe the numbers will show how many were left ungraded.

The changing reverses are very nice and shows that this is what the mint needs to do with their commemorative program.
