I thought Amsinger and Plesac were going to come to blows after the game yesterday. The question was….. would you rather have a 2-0 series lead and Ohtani is out the rest of the series or the series tied 1-1 but Ohtani is healthy the rest of the series. Plesac says take the 2-0 lead, Amsinger says hell no take the tied series and have Ohtani playing. Pretty heated argument they had.
Of course all hypothetical but I say take the 2-0 lead and go without Ohtani. When Teoscar Hernandez is probably your 4th best hitter and Kike is a proven postseason clutch player you should have plenty of offense. Teoscar is a beast and on some teams would be the best hitter.
