    Reverse vantage points.

First photo I took from an open window of Germany's Neuschwanstein Castle looking to Mary's Bridge.

Second photo of Neuschwanstein Castle as I took it from Mary's Bridge:

A JAPANESE [HOT SPRINGS] ONSEN HAIKU

    The steam rises up

    From thermal heated waters

    Of the Onsen Bath

In my below linked YouTube Video, watch as the steam rises from the thermal heated onsen waters of an outdoor Japanese cedarwood bath located in beautiful and historic Nikko Japan.

The surrounding Japanese garden also contains large individual sized immersion vessels filled wit the naturally heated onsen waters.

Overhead a bright blue sky adds a stunning backdrop to the crisp mid March morning.

Additional photos taken at the subject traditional Japanese Inn (Nikko Toshugu Koyoen Inn) in Nikko along with selected photos taken at the Nikko Toshugu shrine complex where Tokugawa Ieyasu, Japan's first Tokugawa Shogun, was enshrined after his death in 1605:

Following up prior postings, here is a newly posted YouTube Video of Japan's Kegon Falls taken from a different and higher vantage point:

Captured in mid March just as the snowy plateau above Nikko Japan’s stunning Kegon Falls begins to melt, watch as the falling waters cascade some 300 feet.

Viewed from the top of the falls at the plateau level one first sees the expansive snow covered plateau.

The camera then pans downward to capture the falling waters as they first reach an ice fronted emerald pond before flowing further downward in multiple streams overflowing from the cliff positioned emerald pond.

Cool gift of Purple Sweet Potato Tarts from a YouTuber friend who just returned from filming an episode with the U.S. Marines in Okinawa.

Purple Sweet Potatoes are a staple in the diet of Okinawans and are claimed to be one of the reasons for the long lives lived by people from Okinawa.

We are starting to get some color here!
I take a picture of these trees every week whether it’s full colors or not, I send them to @lordmarcovan and his family… B)

@asheland is very dedicated. 50+ weeks a year, every Monday morning, he sends us a picture of those same trees, taken from the same vantage point every time. It’s fun to watch the subtle changes through the seasons, especially like now, when they’re in fall color (which we don’t get much of down where I live). Also once or twice a year there will be snow on the ground (which we don’t get at all here).
