That's a nice 58.
NGC-55
It's got MS details, but the fields look pretty hazy. I don't see any real points of wear on either side, so I am thinking somewhere around MS62. Beautiful coin!

Where are the “hairlines galore”? I’m not seeing them.

Very clean obverse and looks like original skin. I see what appear to be some luster breaks on face, breasts, wingtip on viewer's left and claws, so I'm in the AU 58 camp.

My first thought was the same as someone else here, MS62. Kind of a "rough" coin as an MS, but original looking.

Looks like a well struck AU58 with decent luster.
Overton 105, without the typical reverse crack. There appears to be some evidence of hard, smooth surfaces which could present as semi PL areas (more noticeable in the reverse fields), and the striations from which may be what @jacrispies sees describing "hairlines".
An early strike would explain the lack of crack through OF AMERICA and the reflective potential.
That grade may not be what holder it's in, of course, but unless the picture is hiding something, that's what I see from the images and probably how I would grade her in hand.

Red lines give direction of hairlines. Pull up the photos on a monitor and they are very clear.
@pursuitofliberty The lines travel over the bust, which confirm they are post mint and not die polish. Second, I don't recall ever seeing a bust half with fine hairlines for a PL finish. I see it on Morgans all the time but bust half dies usually are shined to a polish.

Absolutely respect your eye Chase, but I don't see them. I see a streaking toned dirty gray patina, although the area around 50 C and Arrowheads on the reverse could be suspect on further magnification.

I also think the coin has been wiped although it's more evident on the reverse.

I will reveal what NGC called it tomorrow evening.
Hint: I'm surprised by the majority of responses so far.
With that hint, my guess is it's in a 62 holder.
Which is probably PCGS 58 and CACG details.
EDIT: Without the hint I was guessing 58.

The hint basically confirms it.
PCGS/CACG might drop it to a 55 if the wipe lines are real bad in person.
BUT the wipes ARE there and so is the RUB across the high points obverse and reverse.

not my series but I would guess AU-58. Sometimes wear can be hard to identify in pictures. James
I appreciate everyone's opinions. NGC gave this one AU details - cleaned. I initially paid AU55 money because this coin had visually no wear and I was this just being a case of subdued luster. After getting it back from grading - I was very disappointed because it was from an old collection that had not been touched since the 1970s, and I felt like giving it cleaned was a bit harsh. However, after reviewing the coin, I began to notice that the lighter areas had faint hairline scratches. @jacrispies was the only one to put this one as a details coin, and I found that rather surprising.

That said, the coin looks obviously cleaned and deserving of a details-grade in the newly provided pictures - drastically different from the first group.

I never guessed, but i did notice the hairlines near the date. From the first set of photos, i didnt expect NGC to call it out, but the coin looks much worse in the NGC shots.
