I keep adding a few vintage bars as they show up. This is an older waffle back.

This is a short video of one. Not mine. It gives you an idea of the thickness. The company also owned the Galena mine in N. Idaho. I worked summers underground at both silver mines on each side of it the same time this was made, in 1973, 1974, and 1976. Bunker Hill and Lucky Friday Mines. A special bar for sure.

A couple Goodwill scores on separate occasions.
Little silver teapot for $2. Weights 6 ounces

Large silver platter for $7. Weights a hefty 16 ounces.

    Nice! B)

I need to start going back and looking again, I kind of quit for a while.

    Was busy Friday…

How much for the half ounce bar?
I had one about 20 years ago that went missing.
**Shoot me a PM if you want to move it along.

@USMC_6115 What a great set of Onzas! How long did that take to put together?
I picked up an UNC baggy $5 piece last week. NGC MS61
The price was right and it has super reflective fields both front & back.

@asheland that is an absolute stunner! I’ve yet to add any southern branch gold to my collection, but it’s on my list.
    Congratulations on a beautiful newp!

Eating at Taco Bell is a tradition of mine on recycling runs, so, Taco Bell and silver dollars!

    .

Did you wrap that Morgan in the Taco Bell napkin ?
Admit it, you go to Taco Bell for the napkins more than the food, am I right ?

    .

    PS disclaimer:

Taco Bell food is probably better than what I just had at a local Mexican restaurant.

I am fortunate to have Way better authentic local family owned Mexican restaurants to choose from.

Couple things about Taco Bell, you don't have to tip the waiter and you can stock up on condiments.

I used to live in south Miami-Dade County where there were some terrific small family-owned Mexican restaurants that only the locals knew about. Delicious! But I still love Taco Bell food. I even own an angry 3-legged chihuahua!

@dcarr That's just some guacamole and "fire" sauce on the (cleaned) silver dollar. I have yet to wrap a coin in a Taco Bell napkin to tone it.

Speaking of Mexican restaurants, I just had this a few days ago, and it was pretty awesome!

I too am a fan of Mexican food. One of the biggest things I miss since the move from Texas to The Commonwealth. That wonderful Tex-Mex is gone but at least I can still find these. RGDS!

I have always liked Silver, but lately I’ve really warmed up to Gold… It seems the higher it gets the more intriguing it is to me! :p

Anyway, this week, I got two humble, but very nice little gold coins for the collection:

Very nice, I have several of the Gold Mercs but still raw OMP. Wanted a slabbed one for quite some time but still yet to become a reality. Please let me know if you ever decide to get rid of her. She's a beauty. RGDS!

This is probably going in the mail to try crossover. Unfortunately, I could no longer find a PCGS version that was affordable.
I believe they will let it get a first strike label but will not allow it to be first day of issue label.
