Our annoying grossly inflated annual property taxes fully doubled this year over last even with pointless appeals, but it seems I had to have me some more Carr $ Fantasies.
Thanks for the shopping tip posted here as this fun stuff was not on my radar.
I will go out way out on the ledge & assume these finals are the best of these designs ever produced.
I previously heard these were to be in the furtures-phere, but here it is now & today & today is the day !!! Now is the time. Today is The Day.

Mr Lindy, I feel your property tax pain, but Texas did an incredible homestead tax rate drop this year (unbelievable home stead went from $40,000 discount to $105, O00 discount for seniors,and $100,000 discount for a you young “ whipper snappers”
I’m gonna be 70 years old in June, and they have to freeze your property taxes here in Texas when you turn 65.
My house property taxes were froze at $114, 000 in 2018…….. I do believe in miracles ‼️‼️‼️👍🎯🎯

I got a pair of the 1792 Flowing hair overstrikes, brilliant and antiqued.
I like the edge lettering vs. the description of the understruck coin on the Obverse like the 1793.

An interesting thing I noticed is that the octagon Lesher's seem to be much harder to find now. Anyone else notice that?

You're referring to the octagon Lesher dollars Dan produced 2014 - 2017? Very cool pieces, so I'm not surprised they're hard to find.
Happily, I've got one -- a 2017 Type 4 (mintage 91)...
As you probably know, Dan also produced MANY more of these with personalized imprints. I'm guessing those are likely to stay buried in personal collections, further reducing the likelihood of finding one in the aftermarket.

That's a great one! It's nicely paired with the California So-Called Dollar slug reverse. I think that die was first used with Jeff Shevlin's 2016 So-Called Dollar Fellowship medals.

Not a known collector. This was his only DC piece.Good to know.
I think it's worth keeping track of early Dan collector provenances, such as done by Zerbe for Lesher Dollars as seen here. It would be great if there was some way to do this for the early days of collecting Dan's pieces.
I've picked up many pieces directly from Dan, but have picked up some from others including yourself and Terry, one of the 3 Amigos.

The 2020 CC Sesquicentennial O/S 1890-CC Morgan amazing coin! I love the look of it too. I would have loved to have made it myself but think it's even more special with Terry's pedigree! Definitely a great fit for a CC silver dollar collection!

This 24k ounce used to be listed as only medal turn orientation when I obtained it.The $3,150 example imaged above is medal turn orientation. Thats wild they have had two examples for sale.
These days $2,300 gold has me considering letting go of some items. But Not the Carr Art, instead, some high mintage US Mint 24k items I bought a decade~ish ago from The Mint. No one locally pays over spot or even spot for most 24k these days, so that's a bummer, but that's why I still own them.
For this issue I desired coin turn as it played well with my Proof Buffalo pair imaged on glass over a mirror.

I usually ignore outlandish coin offers on ebay, but this one made me look further as I have two unburnt examples.
Fleabay seller's mintage claim is goofy too...
If it were true I'd have $15,000 times two & "worth ten times that" thus a cool $300,000 minus fees and taxes due.
