Indeed, Who ??? Who, who is paying attention can walk past this wide array offer ???
Seems the final volley of Peace and Morgans ?
Our annoying grossly inflated annual property taxes fully doubled this year over last even with pointless appeals, but it seems I had to have me some more Carr $ Fantasies.
Thanks for the shopping tip posted here as this fun stuff was not on my radar.
I will go out way out on the ledge & assume these finals are the best of these designs ever produced.
I previously heard these were to be in the furtures-phere, but here it is now & today & today is the day !!! Now is the time. Today is The Day.
Happy Last Thursday of April 2024 !
&
I as ALWAYS, I DO Love me Some Carr Coin Art Fantasies !!!
Happy Shopping !

Mr Lindy, I feel your property tax pain, but Texas did an incredible homestead tax rate drop this year (unbelievable home stead went from $40,000 discount to $105, O00 discount for seniors, and $100,000 discount for a you young “ whipper snappers”
I’m gonna be 70 years old in June, and they have to freeze your property taxes here in Texas when you turn 65.
My house property taxes were froze at $114, 000 in 2018…….. I do believe in miracles ‼️‼️‼️👍🎯🎯
I’m only paying property taxes on $9,000 worth of property = about $300 a year , I do believe in miracles ‼️‼️‼️‼️

An interesting thing I noticed is that the octagon Lesher's seem to be much harder to find now. Anyone else notice that?
.
You're referring to the octagon Lesher dollars Dan produced 2014 - 2017? Very cool pieces, so I'm not surprised they're hard to find.
Happily, I've got one -- a 2017 Type 4 (mintage 91)...
As you probably know, Dan also produced MANY more of these with personalized imprints. I'm guessing those are likely to stay buried in personal collections, further reducing the likelihood of finding one in the aftermarket.

That's a great one! It's nicely paired with the California So-Called Dollar slug reverse. I think that die was first used with Jeff Shevlin's 2016 So-Called Dollar Fellowship medals.

I was lucky and found this one on Ebay. Sending it to ANACS soon, only 3 made.
Awesome piece! Do you recall the seller?
I'm curious if it is a known collector, such as one of the 3 Amigos
..
Not a known collector. This was his only DC piece.
Good to know.
I think it's worth keeping track of early Dan collector provenances, such as done by Zerbe for Lesher Dollars as seen here. It would be great if there was some way to do this for the early days of collecting Dan's pieces.
WOW! The MMOH piece using the Carson City sesquicentennial die overstruck on an 1890-CC Morgan is incredible!!
I have a MMOH Ike that was overstruck using the Carson City sesquicentennial die, forms a nice bridge in my collection of Ikes, CC silver dollars, and DC/MM items. But that 1890-CC Morgan??? WOW!!!

The 2020 CC Sesquicentennial O/S 1890-CC Morgan amazing coin! I love the look of it too. I would have loved to have made it myself but think it's even more special with Terry's pedigree! Definitely a great fit for a CC silver dollar collection!

Northeast Numi has this one listed.....
Another one? They had one last month (MS70) and with a mintage of only 16 (per Dan's site) it's surprising to see one again so soon.
Edit to add: That earlier MS70 is cert #7482171, only 2 higher than this one, so did someone buy at least 2 (maybe 3) of the 16 and submit at the same time?
There may be more than one coin turn example for the 16 minted.
Or maybe mine is still unique ?
This 24k ounce used to be listed as only medal turn orientation when I obtained it.
The $3,150 example imaged above is medal turn orientation. Thats wild they have had two examples for sale.
These days $2,300 gold has me considering letting go of some items. But Not the Carr Art, instead, some high mintage US Mint 24k items I bought a decade~ish ago from The Mint. No one locally pays over spot or even spot for most 24k these days, so that's a bummer, but that's why I still own them.
For this issue I desired coin turn as it played well with my Proof Buffalo pair imaged on glass over a mirror.

BTW, thanks all for the notification as I sometimes am rather too busy to catch Danny's site also & got a few of the new offerings!
Well, just Love coins, period.
I got a pair of the 1792 Flowing hair overstrikes, brilliant and antiqued.
I like the edge lettering vs. the description of the understruck coin on the Obverse like the 1793.
Thanks Dan, and thanks to the folks here for mentioning the newps.
It's all about what the people want...
I love the '1933' date, so one 1933-S Peace Dollar for me.

I paid penance for my ignorance. I bought the Manila overstrike walker from akbeez.
Any possibility of working with 3 cent Silvers?
Perhaps for type collectors, but probably not enough for date collectors!
Dan's goal is to do a full type set so.... yes!
Let me put my 2 cents ✌️in……………..or perhaps 20 cents ✌️✌️✌️ ‼️🎯👍👍‼️‼️‼️
…..hopefully Califórnia fractional gold quarter dollars!
Here are some Great Photos from @PhilArnold!
I bought these bars from Dan a while back and I still find them very attractive.
Yes I do coin photography at a fair price.

Would someone please explain what bulk-handled finish means exactly, no image available for either.
I would imagine that these are products that are not good enough for the high grade versions, but worth more than being recycled.

I usually ignore outlandish coin offers on ebay, but this one made me look further as I have two unburnt examples.
Fleabay seller's mintage claim is goofy too...
If it were true I'd have $15,000 times two & "worth ten times that" thus a cool $300,000 minus fees and taxes due.
"In the future, this coin is going to be worth 10 times that of what I'm asking."
$150K? Define "future".

Arrived for my siggy today 10 minutes before the well forecasted hail.

IIRC, Dan bag handles these, instead of "off the press and into a flip". From the perspective of ANACS, it typically means MS 63-65, instead of 69-70.

I was able to snag 2 of the last one to sell out. Missed the other 5.
My understanding is that they are just ones that are not high enough quality, so they are artificially circulated. Still cool and usually low pops.
My order arrived safe as well but dang the prior photos put mine to shame.
