He did, it’s in his “link” under his posts. However it just shows his store has been removed. But I believe his username is there in the link

Well, the policy will be written clearly
Stolen merchandise is hysterical but the receipts prove it is all legally obtained. Great Collection is one of those purchase places so in short, I do not know what happened and I am guessing as well. But proof should actually be what reasonable people work off of

Last thing my me. I’ve run an internet based coin business for 20+ years. I’ve never had any of these issues that are sometimes discussed here. Whenever I hear a website or something similar is being started with “policy will be clear” generally that is not all that inviting to buyers.

Generally speaking, I’ve sold over 25M in coins as a dealer, none of which had a policy questioned or even come into play. Policies have to do with returns, layaway, etc. if policies are written to remind the buyer to do exactly what you need, there are often other venues that are easier to deal with, especially if you are offering items that are readily available in the marketplace.

So, once again, only after repeated incomplete or evasive postings has the real story started to emerge.

The post by you above appears to suggest that ebay claimed you were selling stolen merchandise?

You didn't think this was relevant to this whole discussion?

No, I think we are all guessing on this plus I do not know a thing. Maybe eBay can answer the saga!?

I spoke to over 20 people and they wanted A proof of ID, check. Proof of address, provided. Proof of Merch!! Receipts verified check, what now???

What if say, someone in a powerful position says You are False. yet you are not? Former Presidents were accused and maybe they were wrong or maybe they were Actually NOT yet the political says so so does that mean that is going to be the truth??

No, I think we are all guessing on this

Maybe all are guessing….except you personally. So, eBay questioned if items were stolen? Is that correct? If you answer that question (write a written response YES or NO to the question, did eBay suspect items you were selling were stolen?) that might allow us here to keep answering you. (I will add the reminder to you when you started you said, no reason, out of the clear blue you were cancelled. However, with each couple responses, you are mentioning many things that don’t sound like out of the blue and no reason…)

But, as I said before, you have not and continue to not much help your cause in a forum of serious collectors and students of the hobby. I’m not sure that is helping you, nor the kind of advertising you want to do for your future/continued business.

Edited to add: after reading your response above, these are all standard things to be asked for if you want to continue selling on their marketplace. It’s the same for everyone in your situation. This is not eBay against you!

Ebay is a good sales venue if you know what you're doing but there is no easy money, it's a tough marketplace. Buyers have a lot of rights, the eBay oversight professionals have ultimate control and they should act swiftly if they see a pattern of irresponsible selling. And as many of us have noted there are more sellers not following the very reasonable rules recently.

Well reading your past item descriptions was interesting to say the least. Certainly seen worse on eBay so you obviously tripped some algorithm. I mean I don't agree with some of the descriptions, prices, authenticity, etc but you by no means are alone as it's buyer beware on there.

I have lots of forever stamps and could ship low cost items that way through eBay. Is this what happened ? To eBay, that would be circumventing their shipping rules ( I.e. tracking). And even though it's only $.63 for one ounce, with eBay's plan, a forever stamp ( I have lots) at a cost of twenty cents ; well it's tempting to ship that way.

My thoughts are in line with any strange reason why one could or might lose selling privileges. And that could be one.

When you said "no tracking ....."

You don't have to track. But if a buyer says they didn't receive it, you need to immediately refund their money.

But the ebay shipping comes with insurance and tracking and is just easier. I often have thousands in discount postage on hand, but I always use ebay labels because of convenience.

Nothing, was able to get followers to follow from reddit and what have you. I had a surge of followers when I started the listings. Again, nothing wrong was done that warrants this (based on what I see. I should consider legal inquiry of some sort.

Fyi, those fees are unbelievable. I looked at what they took off sales and I really didnt do as well as I thought.. its wild on what this site takes plus promoted listing fee

Fees are quite cheap. I pay under 8% in fees including payment processing. It will cost you 3.5% even on your own website for payment processing with 1/1000th the number of eyeballs and no seller guarantees. Anyone who thinks eBay is expensive knows nothing about retail.

There were approximately 15 items under or around $10

None of which were provided tracking. My only mistake in my own review was I left out tracking on a few above $10 but that was a mistake, the under $10 no tracking was not meant to have tracking due to cost of shipping $3 , $ 4 items in a stamped env

    Does not make any sense

    Ok. Example
This is a token I purchased from eBay. When it arrives it looks nothing like the pictures. I check the listing and no mention of stock picture or multiple available you will receive similar. Nada.
I contacted the seller and while he insisted that my photo was blurry and of poor quality he offered a 50% discount. Quick, easy and as eBay sez “ try and work it out “.
So it’s not necessary to contact them but comforting to know they back me up.
Here’s the photo of the listing and my photos. After we had worked out everything and I left positive feedback I made sure to send better photos and try to save my integrity. He didn’t respond back.

To be honest it looks like the same token based on certain spotting, but, his photos were seriously "managed" to create a perception that didn't reflect the token in hand.
