Looking over what was sold you violated eBay's counterfeit policy as follows:
    Counterfeit Buffalo nickel money clip
Numerous counterfeit/fantasy Intaglio Mint1921 2 oz Peace Dollar. You note in description as 1 oz.
    Counterfeit/fantasy Intaglio Mint 1878 Morgan 2 oz.
    Oversized 1869 Indian Head Cent.

You sold some nice coins in PCGS holders. Why mess with selling the garbage above? Ebay has a problem with counterfeit coins and I have no problem with eBay bouncing seller's who violate their counterfeit coin policy. How many coins did you have removed for violating eBays coin policy?

There were approximately 15 items under or around $10

None of which were provided tracking. My only mistake in my own review was I left out tracking on a few above $10 but that was a mistake, the under $10 no tracking was not meant to have tracking due to cost of shipping $3 , $ 4 items in a stamped env

    Does not make any sense

For curiosity to get to the bottom of the issue, while I do see some sales of private minted pieces like the 1921 which may violate eBay policy, more curious about the items not using tracking. Did any of the items that did not have tracking, did the buyer of any item open a case with eBay about non-delivery?

Price does not factor into if you had multiple people open that line of inquiry with eBay. If that did occur, then your account would be looked at more specifically, and then with other issues such as slow updating of shipping info, as well as selling items against policy may have come to their attention.

Here is a link to items sold: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_ssn=nextlevelnumisma&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1

    Seller's name: nextlevelnumisma

Lots and I mean tons of sellers sell far more questionable material. Perhaps he attracted someone who constantly complained to ebay about his listings.

I still suspect the issue has to do with how he handled buyers who claimed non-receipt on untracked items. (But the lack of negative feedback is a mystery, unless eBay deactivates feedback when they have to step in to refund the buyer).

I haven’t read the whole thread, but I was also banned on eBay in my early days. Never had any negative feedback or issues before I was banned. I finally got them to admit they put a temporary ban on me because I had been selling low price items for a long time, then suddenly started selling high priced gold coins, and they just wanted to make sure everything was legitimate. But it created a headache. I had customers who were waiting on gold coins in the mail, when suddenly it looks like I just disappeared. I was not able to log in to message the buyers and reassure them that their coins were on the way. After a bit of headache they finally reinstated my account and I kept on doing business as usual.

Thank you for the purchase Braddick!!
Honest to goodness it is probably the values of what I tried selling
    I shipped to everyone

The following with the scammer buyer was with tracking. Added later since I was quite busy

10% returns is reason enough, and those won't show up on feedback

how many SNADs do you get before getting kicked off?

and there's an easy solution to get back on, put the account in your wife's name, use a different POB, use a VPN, a different phone, and a different bank, it's not rocket surgery

I wish but eBay is ok letting fake sellers stay but poor ole me who did nothing worthy of this sadly has to fight back for the account.

Anyways either way, I will be mostly a PCGS supporting website eventually.

Why only pcgs. What did ngc do? Oh boy, I forgot, a simple answer with an easily comprehensible response is not likely. Oh well. Thanks 🙏

From the "money clip" listing (it's actually a slide for a bolo tie BTW), I clicked on "seller's other items" and got:

"The seller is away until Wed, Aug 23, 2023. Expect a delay in delivery until they return."

Are you sure you're not just suspended?

so what was the outcome of this? >:)

Most common reasons for an ebay ban are abusive/threatening communications with another member or trying to establish contact information outside of ebay. Both of these are message issues.

Repetition of ignorance is ignorance raised to the power two.

Much as I/we predicted, eBay likely reinstated him after reviewing the paper work he supplied. But since he refuses to see this as a learning experience, he's probably still blaming ebay for his mistakes.

he wasnt providing tracking numbers to buyers which is probably againts ebay policy ive always gotten a tracking number even if the item was $2.12 always

  • telephoto1telephoto1 Posts: 4,935 ✭✭✭✭✭

We send most of our stuff priority mail anyway, and high end stuff via Registered... so no matter what, there's always a tracking number- and we immediately log said number through our seller dashboard so the buyer has immediate access to it without having to ask.
