Prob made a mistake and recently sold my OPC PSA 9 #660 Aaron. Was a pop 8.
If anyone is going to sell a card like yours or the Ryan in question (low pop with limited sales history), I highly recommend an auction format rather than setting a fixed price. Of course there is some risk involved in doing so but the potential upside makes the risk worthwhile in my opinion.

PSA price guide has the 1975 OPC Nolan Ryan listed at $1,200. Why even have a price guide if it's that incorrect. To me the Price Guide is a valuable tool, especially for newbie's and having the correct price can substantiate your the PSA brand. It would look better for PSA to have the prices slightly on the high side versus rock bottom.
i think PSA should seek volunteers to monitor the Price Guide (knowledgeable ones). If they asked me to keep up with certain sets and certain years, i would be glad to assist to the best of my ability. The Price guide is certainly a huge selling point.

1978 OPC two cards, the nolan ryan and nolan ryan leader have a psa 9 pop of over 100
1979 opc the most psa 9's of one card is johnny bench with 70, topps version has 714 psa 9's.
1980 opc the most psa 9's of one card card is johnny bench with 45, topps version has 443 psa 9's.
1981 opc the most psa 9's of one card card is tim raines with 73, topps version has 1489 psa 9's.

I will add 1972 OPC vs, Topps. Roberto Clemente #309 is the highest OPC pop in PSA 9 with 21. There are 379 Topps 9's and 24 10's. I have a bunch of PSA 9 cards from the set that are Pop 2 or 3 that I bought for pennies.

Great thread. Here are some of mine from that 79 Championship team. All very low pop. Sorry about the camera flash. The 1980 Stargell is a pop 11. The 80 Dave Parker is a pop 19, and there are no 10's.
This card sold today for $6,850, more than 3x the price of the one sold on eBay on 10/29/20 for $2,214! The value of these low pop cards are really tough to predict.
i won the 1973 opc psa 8 for $500. pop 25. only 4 psa 9's no 10's. not a perfect copy from the centering perspective, but unbelievably rare in this condition. pumped up about it. should have never sold for the same price as a topps, which has 869 psa 8's,

I'm currently working on a 1971 set. I know acquiring Clemente and Yaz (among others) will be tough.
One thing that makes the 1970 set easier is there are no high #s. That 440 card lot would be a huge head start as the complete set is just 546 cards.
How much influence does the registry have on demand, collectability and pricing?
I see team sets and key card sets only requiring the Topps versions.
Some Topps cards are going for more money than the OPC version despite the rarity and pop numbers.

Bonds GOAT and his 87 OPC is a nightmare to find centered. 85 Puckett OPC is tough as well, I have abut 40 in my no sub pile.

The OPC Bonds is a corner card (on the bottom right of the sheet), a notoriously tough position for well centered, sharp cornered cards.

Three 9s and a ten on that card, pack pulled, is incredible.
Also agree with above and the number of sheet cut in slabs. If it is 50/50, no tilt at all, I have a hard time believing it came from a pack.
The one i got a 10 on was as close to 50/50 as it could be no tilt. The 9's may have a very slight tilt, maybe. But it's would be barely tilted.

Nice cards. They are very rare in PSA 9. Most have pops less than 35.
Those Bretts are amazing, but I give my vote to the Schmidt. I can't ever seem to find one of those with perfect centering.
