Note that these are still a valid debt instrument of the United States, like a savings bond (although no interest is accrued).
I could still legally take these into a bank and exchange the sheet for $125 in "lawful money", although I'm sure they would look at me funny and balk at that. As a rare collectible item, the sheet is currently worth about 10 times face value

An attractive Mint State 1901 Philadelphia Morgan is beyond my budget, but I like the look of this AU50 for a fraction of the cost. No scratches or distracting nicks, just some honest wear.
Picked up this 1795 BB-52 (NGC VF35) recently enough. I had avoided that and more so the BB-51 (off-center one, which is as common as water), because they are overpriced and fairly common. But they always have been and might always be.

I've not be able to locate mintages on these but I will assume +-100 if not considerably less.
