I've been looking for an example for a while now that I could obtain with excellent detail (overall) and that wouldn't require a significant (for me) investment. Ran into this one recently and it really fits the bill. I don't own many "details" coins but this one, graded "PCGS Gold Shield - Genuine Plugged - VF Detail", is a perfect fit for me. Incredible history purchased for a fraction of what an equivalent problem-free example would have cost me.
The missing year from 1950 through 1972 has been found, and only the 1973, 1975 and 1977 left to go to finish proof Lincoln Cents from 1950 through 2022:
Has never seen one of these gold Mt Rushmore pieces before and really like the design. Now that some people want to cancel Mt Rushmore thought it would be a nice preservation piece as well.
Nothing expensive but, I have always loved these. The design carries over the arts & crafts period right through the 60's ;-)
I've lived in California since 1985 And collect everything California. It took me till I retired and moved to Nevada to buy a set....lol
.
Won this the other day in the Stacks Bowers auction. Common date but I love the appearance.
A slight numeric upgrade from my old MS63 to this new MS64, but a big upgrade in eye appeal.
Can’t wait to add it the set!

Years ago I had two that I bought out of a bowl full of Wheat cents that were at a coin shop and priced at 85 cents a roll.
Mine were decent (later graded by ANACS F and VF), but not as nice as that one.

Thanks Dan! And you didn't even have to cherry pick for yours. Nice!
Second finest I have noted for all 1877-S FS-802 Trade dollars and the finest and only UNC for the specific die pair (C-17 in my catalogue). It is PCGS MS64. The finer one is a C-16.1 (different obverse die) and is graded PCGS MS65 CAC (sold in 2019, Heritage auction 1299, lot 3755). There are 3 different obverses paired with the cherrypicker reverse die. The finest of the third pairing (C-18.1) is a PCGS MS62 CAC, which I discovered and sold recently.

Do you collect sticker dollars? I have a couple of pages in a Dansco and wouldn’t mind seeing another collection.
I like the details you’ve researched with the coin
Finished my 1799 bust dollar variety set with this BB-152 NGC AU53.
And got one more closer to finishing up the set for 1798 as well. BB-81 PCGS XF (details for an as-minted planchet defect).

Picked up this cull Morgan to add to the tube.
And, picked this Barber up out of the 50% off box.
Nice circ-cams, especially the reverse of the half.
