I first saw this note when it showed up at Heritage about 2 months ago(?), and put it onto he tracking list immediately. Sometimes I search by what I am looking for and not what is "current".
It has everything I like. The right grade (58epq), exceptional paper and originality, attractive ink, pleasing centering, more difficult signatures, and a lower population, nearing (or in) the Condition Census.
I was prepared to pay more, as I have found this note more difficult than a quick glance at a population report might suggest, but was happy to find that the bidding was subdued.
Of the 6 finer at PMG, 2 are shown as 60's and one is a 62 ... and based on the grades and my research, all three of those are problem notes (the 62 is a "Repaired" note, and I have been told to two 60's may be previous grades of the same note).
Anyway ... my prize for the day ... as I have now switched to an afternoon iced tea!

Been wanting to put together some displays of my coins. Had this extra case from Littleton, which curiously doesn’t hold regular 2x2 ‘s just a wee bit small, decided to try and repurpose it. I’m quite happy with the results. What do you think?

Just got back from 5 days fishing in Southern Oregon late last night. It's taken near a full pot to start to recover this morning. My body may not be made (any more) for kayaking that many days in a row and putting in 1000+ miles of drive time in that short a window. However, one 19" Rainbow and multiple 16" to 20" Kokanee's later, along with some beautiful areas to paddle, it was a good trip.
Got grades and TrueViews on a few coins.
This one is kind of a hot mess, with a great crack. She was in a NGC 55 holder, but that seemed like a 50/50 proposition, IMO. I'll take the PCGS 53.
