Coffee is hot black and smooth this morning ... and life is good
Not really new, per se, as I have owned this one since 1999 ... but she got graded and imaged by our hosts recently ... and this is actually a pretty accurate TrueView

Getting a late start with coffee and coins today, but here goes:
This is an interesting medal by Tiffany & Co for The National Arts Club of New York. It was designed by Victor David Brenner of Lincoln Cent fame:
Its quite large at 63mm.
Bought it for inventory last year, but it never sold so I'm enjoying it over a cup of Joe today.
Happy Saturday, everyone.

Good morning folks
Today I’m organizing my reverse proof ase collection. Got em all and today we will have a family photo. Here’s the twins Followed by my grandson Vinnie. 3 months old and recovering well from open heart surgery.
Best wishes and prayers to Vinnie! He'll be graded MS-70 before you know it!
Got home from work last night and had a slew of messages which caused me to take some time and look up a few coins that other people had sent images for ...
I was absolutely inspired by a coin @Inspired70 posted in the message, arguably the finest known 28-107 ... and it made me look at my 28-107 closer this morning.
Not in the same league, or even in the same state, but here she is, none the less.

Maybe we'll see the inspiration from @Inspired70 this morning as well!

No new coins but a good cup o Joe and spring time weather in the Rockies. Very nice coins for this morning’s eye candy. Was framing a picture from @gumby1234 and rediscovered a second signed driver photo. He sent me a wonderful gift a few months back and as i was getting ready for the framing I found the second picture. I love rediscovering something. I’ve had this happen with coins.
Have a wonderful day folks.
Up early enjoying some quiet time before the kids awake. This new Eschenbach magnifier really is worth the money. Makes viewing Civil War tokens a whole lot more pleasurable. Add coffee and some forum buddies and you have the perfect morning!
Happy Saturday, ladies and gentlemen.

I’d enjoy seeing your CW tokens. I’m a CW buff and have a few notes - Confederate notes, but no tokens.

Morning folks, having a cup of coffee on the porch and at least thinking about coins.
Spent part of last night looking through rolls of coins with my youngest daughter, and I was taken back by her enthusiasm for it all.
We hadn't searched through coins in a long time, so I went to the bank yesterday and grabbed a box of cents. To see the excitement in her eyes to discover a 1938 wheat penny with all the modern cents really invigorated me. While we didn't find anything of real value, it was valuable time spent. Who knows? Maybe she becomes a collector like me, and it's something we can share together throughout life. All I know is she didn't want to go to bed last night, knowing the next roll would bring another great find.
I've got to get her into Civil War tokens now.
Have a great weekend, all. Stay positive and stay caffeinated!

Added some BU silver escudos from a eBay seller in Portugal. Great price and fast shipping, even with customs.
I was gifted a couple 2 1/2 gold escudos last year and well I started collecting anything with 2 1/2 escudos. Found some in cuni and some in silver. Silver BU examples are fairly rare and expensive. I got very lucky when I hooked up with the seller in Europe.
And found a wonderful example of the desirable 1941 2 1/2 escudos bank note. I have the 1944 but finding the 1941 at a reasonable price is tough.
Finally, I received a wonderful gift from a forum member who sent me a couple items from a recently inherited collection. I’m very honored to be a caretaker for such an amazing and generous gift. Thanks buddy.

Happy Saturday everyone!
Thank you pursuitofliberty for the kind words. We both share a love for 28-107's
Beautiful 107s. Now I gotta post mine at the other end of the price spectrum. It’s saving grace is a newly applied CAC sticker
Despite being XF, this is one of my favorites
