Why is that a 63? Is there a hit on the rim or something that’s not showing up in the picture because dang, it’s just a shocker πŸ™€

I haven’t yet figured it out. No defects that’s I’ve seen. Just severely under graded.

That's terrible to have all that debris in a slab. I'd have them regrade that on their own dime. At least try, anyway.

This story keeps repeating. I think it needs to breakout above $1,900 to get a more sustained rally going.

Currently my oldest gold in TrueViews is a 1907 so I am still impatiently waiting to post.

Hopefully we will see your 1907 and read your post today-Jan 13!

Props to ANACS because the local rep had reached out to me and offered to get them reslabbed at their expense.
I was moving as well as had family emergencies, so couldn't meet the person at the coin show to hand them over in person as originally planned.
Been a while now and the debris seemed to have settle down into the gaps of the slab. Don't want to test and shake them around lest it becomes like a snow globe and scatter again.

Posted this previously - last years (2022) chart. Starting off similar. Will this year bounce around and up and down but back to go at the end of the year? Or is the real rally here this time.
Looks like it got up to 2052 last year.

@jmlanzaf - my prior post was simply to point out how gold this year is starting off similar to last year and if it will do a similar thing and wind up where it started. As far as the real rally, that was also intended to note how for the past year there has been several post on a gold rally or similar. I was making no attempt to make any serious analysis of gold, gold charts or where it is going. Sorry if it was confusing but just having a little fun.

The calendar year is an arbitrary time frame. To see the bigger pattern, you need to look at the full chart, that's all I'm saying.

All I was saying is that I was not trying to look at any bigger picture. I was just having fun with the thread and noting that this year is starting off like last year and could it do a similar thing and go up and down and all around and wind up where it started. Similarly noting that the last year in this thread many noted a gold rally but I wound up back where it started. So as you replied I need to look at a 3 or 5 year chart that don't need to do this for what I was doing. That is all I am saying.

    Surprise.

Instead of the anticipated Sunday afternoon pull back, the price of gold continues to go up (albeit by a small increment.)

People seem to ignore the downward moves.
