Thanks. A wad of bills from time-to-time and loose change received from purchases. Mostly it sits alone in my pocket and is thumbed heavily and regularly. I’m also in the habit of flipping it in the air when idly zoning out in front of the idiot box. In the last week the obverse began turning green, which I assume is due to rampant humidity, and I addressed that with a quick acetone dip.

Does anyone follow the Ike set by J.C. Wang? It's mentioned in PCGS in this artice:

PCGS gave Wang's set high accolades:
"The number one Eisenhower dollar set was assembled over a 20-year period by Illinois collector, James Sego, and it has won the PCGS Set RegistrySM awards for Best Modern Set the past two years. The set has a weighted grade point average of 66.58, and was inducted into the PCGS Set RegistrySM Hall of Fame last year," said BJ Searls, PCGS Set RegistrySM Manager. The second finest Eisenhower dollar collection in the PCGS Set RegistrySM was assembled by California collector, J.C. Wang. Its weighted grade point average is 66.50.

I started to get serious about Ike dollars in 1989. My two favorites are the 'King and Queen' of the series, the 1972-P Type II graded PCGS MS-66 and the colorful 1974-D PCGS MS-67 from the Peacock Hoard. I've searched thousands of Mint State Ikes and barely found only a few with high grades. The challenge continues today; I'm still trying to find high-grade IkesIs this the Registry Set and the coins mentioned? They have the same grades and have TrueViews from that era.

Not mine but what a holder! Whoever wrote the copy could have done a better job and not been so redundant! It’s like one person wrote the top copy to stand alone and a second person wrote the bottom copy to stand alone.

Haha you’re right I wanted it but not for $264K, so after I lost I went over to the Kearney Coin Center table and purchased a few PR70 DCAMs. A beautiful and relatively inexpensive way to satisfy that itch.
