Unaffordable, unfortunately. These coins could be affordable, within a lifetime, in a lesser condition, if it had not been for one person who succeeded in cornering the market. Maybe he got rich by doing it, but I doubt it.

No. It was offered offered on eBay as a group for just over $1 million. I don’t think it sold, but I don’t know for sure.

No. It was offered offered on eBay as a group for just over $1 million. I don’t think it sold, but I don’t know for sure.

I remember it having an opening bid for a million or so, but there was also a reserve that was much higher, right?? Like a few million... The group would have sold quickly for $1 million I believe.

I think the Jenks PR67+RB example was a part of the group of 53. That one alone was over $250k

All I am suggesting is that Blay's collecting strategy may have been better than that of the 09 VDB MPL hoard owner.
