Just acquired this Conder Token.... Two reasons - one, Naval theme, two, 1796 date. Just came together and I really like it in hand. Cheers, RickO

    That's the most convoluted "H" I've ever seen. :#

    But based on the name on the other side, HH it is.

    I assume "Edin." is for Edinburgh (Scotland).

    Goes on to say Harrison was possibly a woolen merchant who got involved in making uniform buttons. That anchor symbol would make a smart naval button.

    I’m digging your Conder token! Very nice attractive brown piece. Also like the 1796 date but in US every 1796-dated coin except the large cent is well out of my financial reach at the moment as a college student. Study hard, put in the work, and maybe in a couple years that will change…
