Just to elaborate...on the right side of the tube are 12 Maya & 12 Sally Ride S coins (24 in total), while the left side of the tube contains 5 P & 5 D Sally Ride coins (10 in total).

[[Do you know the source of the P&D? Are they from USM rolls or are they from bank rolls?]]

And yes...all coins are from the Mint rolls that were offered for sale.

Silver proof is/was up. Didn't see 3 roll set. Off topic but don't want to find the correct post, the 4 coin gold proof was up (for backorder) for about a minute. I tried to add to cart but was gone before I could even do that. If I checked that first I likely could have grabbed.

Seems like they will make different things available, for whatever reason, during a gap in product releases. Leveling inventory and reconcile returns. Perhaps throw a dart 😉🙀🦫

    These S uncirculated are it!!
Been some talking about W quarters and value. 10,000,000 W quarters in one year. 300,000S uncirculated quarters x 5 = 1, 500, 000 in one year.
While some are not having it there’s 80+ % less S uncirculated and that sounds like rarity to me. Not to mention there’s no other way to get them, at least the first two. Maybe they’ll put single S rolls in the Mankiller set and the rest 😉🙀🦫

Not that I'll actually live to see it...but I'm playing let's pretend with these...my pretense is this...what would I have done if I was my grandfather and the 1909S VDB Lincoln came along or if I was my father and the 1955 DD cent popped up?

Therefore, unable to actually land any S rolls (yet), I've been picking them off in small numbers online...and so far I have a dozen nice examples of each.

Maybe my descendants will be able to flip them!

I am a fan of the S mint quarters because of the low mintage and I wasn't even going to collect the new quarters. But... hold on... the W mint were released into circulation and a smaller number will survive in higher grades and every one of these S mint are uncirculated condition and into the hands of collectors by the roll. I think long term they will come close to parity in value.

7 pages on these quarters, so far.........Geezzz
    My 25 cents worth:
    The "S" mint Quarters
Does anybody really think that 300,000 of these quarters of each, made for collectors (since they weren't put into ciculation) will be worth anything in 5-10-15 years?
This is a fad and will (sooner than later) fade away.
They will be worth 25 cents when this is all over.
If by chance I got one in change I would just spend it
I'll just keep collecting coins, but not these.
The only people making money on these quarters are the dealers that were able to buy in bulk and then pass them off to the public at outrageous prices.

I encourage everyone to look at the 2017 Enhanced Uncirculated quarters... mintage 215,000

There just aren't that many quarter collectors.

Respectfully this is not 2017. Post Covid collecting habits have changed.
For reference check out the Tuskegee and Washington Delaware quarters. 5 years ago , pre-pandemic, different world.

For those throwing cold water on the quarters...to each his own...but for a relatively low initial investment, the upside potential looks pretty decent.

The S quarter sold out mostly thru enrollment. This one the dealers don’t effect what is happening with the price 😉🙀🦫

Respectfully, if someone is collecting Washington Quarters, that coin is (possibly) part of the series. Ultimately, if you are going to make an argument for the 2022 coins based on the mintage relative to the rest of the series then you are, consciously or unconsciously, considering the series not an individual coin.

There's a reason those 2017 coins have not appreciated in value. But feel free to reject any data that doesn't support your thesis. ;)

JM. You have a way of saying snotty little things like “feel free to reject any data that doesn’t support your thesis”
Buzz off. You can pontificate all you like but quit being combative with me . Block me what ever but your opinion is not the end all be all. Dang. Fight fight fight. You should be ashamed of yourself. 😉🙀🦫

I'll also add this...other than collectors...who was throwing $$$ at the Morgan and Peace dollars last year?

At least these quarters are known by the general public and young collectors (if there are any left), might need to buy a few to fill an album one day (assuming anyone still does that).

But like I said previously...I'm enjoying the hunt...and for a relatively low investment...you might actually have a $ upside too.

    And from a different page

“”U.S. Mint uncirculated coins are struck on special presses using greater force than what is used for circulating coins, producing a sharp, intricately detailed image. The coins are sealed in blisters and displayed in folders.””

A business strike coin meant for circulation can also be referred to uncirculated until it is actually released into circulation. Ms M is referring to coins that were struck for collectors and sold directly to customer by the mint and and were never intended to be placed into circulation. A few do end up in circulation when Grandma's collection gets spent.

Governments can print currency. Only the people can print faith in it — and they’re running low on ink.

500,000 sets that did not get added to original inventory. "You never know what you will get OR WHEN"

Yeah, you're right. 2022 coin collectors would never collect a coin as old as five years. That's probably why I have a hard time selling my 1932-D and S Washington quarters. They are too old!

On a separate note, it has nothing to do with what I do or don't have in inventory. I had hundreds of Morgan/Peace dollars last year. I have never been a long-term believer in them either and told everyone here that.

JM. Your really pushing it today.
Does everyone have to appear stupid to you. Don’t talk to me like I’m an idiot.
2017 was before the pandemic and the problems there and now we have a war. Never said anything about not buying 2017 You used that cute remark to insult me.
Facts are you didn’t answer wither or not you have a seat at the table as far as a 3- coin rolls go.
I’ll remind you that the world has changed since 2017.
    Cute: “ that’s why I have a hard time selling 32’s. “.
You have a hard time being civil and polite when your talking to us little folks. And you really should leave the humor to others. Your brand of humor seems to include a little jab, a big air of superiority.
So much knowledge to share. Sad you feel the need for such a pompous attitude.
My respect level for you is dropping, I’m certain you could care less. Kinda sad. 🤨🙀🦫

More soup for you. The mint has apparently found a "hoard" of Quarter Silver Proof Sets as they are still available since yesterday. So much for almost gone thru enrollments. Earlier this year in another thread I warned that the Mint has some new tricks and plans to game the gamers this year. Expect them to find another "hoard" of Sally Ride quarters soon. :#
