No there’s going to be lots of the S proof. Same as the clad S proof. Their in the quarter sets and proof sets and the silver is in the limited edition set
Although perhaps the clad will be smaller
Just asking...because after 50 years of being abused by the Mint, I still somehow have a brain...but why weren't the "S" quarters also included in the regular Mint sets?
“”Uncirculated coins, made by the same process as circulating coins, are produced with enhancements such as a slightly higher coining force for a brilliant finish.””
“”U.S. Mint uncirculated coins are struck on special presses using greater force than what is used for circulating coins, producing a sharp, intricately detailed image. The coins are sealed in blisters and displayed in folders.””
Once your signed up you can raise( to limit) or drop to one. Can also change payment choices. Must make changes a few days before release but it’s great. Getting signed up is the hard part.
Well the days of you just able to order a set is over. Just crazy that if one dealer wants to corner the market he can order all or most of them then change anything he wants. 🤔
[[Rich. Please post a picture of the PL quarter so I’ll know what to look for 😉]]
I'm actually out on the road...but I have several that look just like the item below...not sure of the diagnostics, but the surface quality sure looks identical to 1960s era brilliant proof coins.
@spotthedog said: I am wondering if pcgs will grade individual "s" mint quarters as "first strike" etc.? I see across the street is doing this type of grading.

Kind of difficult to get First Strike unless you screen and submit immediately or grade a sealed box at one time. I have a sealed box of Maya with two sets. 240 coins. FS not worth it on this one I'd imagine.
Well now. This wasn’t due until 9 pm Monday night. 2- 3-roll Sally’s. Gunna leave in box until I decide if I’m trading and if first strike will be involved and new owner may pick. Or going into safe 😉🙀🦫
Kinda quiet. Purple Heart up for a second.
The Christmas ornaments are listed. Someone was asking about Xmas stuff last month or so. Nothing was showing but now it’s been added
Coffee and coins nice. 😉🦫🙀
Well it seems TPG are using fdoi and early/first release. I guess I’ll leave my Sally’s in the box until something is finalized. Here’s the Maya examples from random eBay 🦫🙀😉
How is this possible. Why ping your CC The quarters are the 29 th ?
I thought they didn’t ping until release day. I’ve had them contact me after midnight and run it day of but not a couple days before. I’m probably misunderstanding something. 😉

no misunderstanding. I am special! This is a new year and the mint is up to new tricks. They will be gaming the gamers.
It will be like " something you have never seen before" LoL and fasten your seat belts.
I will post when the shipping label is created.
" If you push something hard enough, it will fall over. " The 1st Law of Opposition from The Firesign Theater
That’s what I thought and it states it some dang place in the mint literature. Check in morning seems like it might be a error. Those might be in stock but the release date and rules all come from legislation.
I’m getting up to check on couple things so early coffee up here. 5;30 am for the Mint-Go-Round. 😉🙀🦫
The mint may be testing how soon they can lock in commitments for enrollments and pre orders to prevent last minute cancellations. Look for them to begin making it harder to cancel orders and the deadline for doing so.

Again...I'll show my advanced age...but back in prehistoric times when we were mailed a paper form (or later could also call) to order from the Mint...what was their return policy? Did they even have a return policy vs. only an EXCHANGE policy for damaged items?
I think the Mint should resurrect whatever policy that was...and drive flippers out altogether!
Actually no...correction...I guess that an initial HHL of 1 or 2 seems to work pretty well. Do more of that for hot issues.

Just got an email from mint stating enrollments for women's quarters silver proof set almost gone!
Is there going to be a stampede on this set too?

Common sense stupid question, I know...
P & D only uncirculated sets. Proof sets S 😉

S minted business strike coins are not for circulation. So not in the mint sets
The dollar coins are not circulating but the NA is included in the mint set but the AI are not.
Explain please. Business strike and uncirculated. Any difference? Are the coins in the 3-Roll different? I’m, as usual, confused.

FYI...Enrollment for the ASE Proof on April 14 is now unavailable....
“”Uncirculated coins, made by the same process as circulating coins, are produced with enhancements such as a slightly higher coining force for a brilliant finish.””
Unlike last year’s where they specially minted them then let them get bag marked to death
And from a different page
“”U.S. Mint uncirculated coins are struck on special presses using greater force than what is used for circulating coins, producing a sharp, intricately detailed image. The coins are sealed in blisters and displayed in folders.””
Thank you.

I was just able to increase an existing enrollment for them.

Now if everyone does this then that might be the reason the Mint has to come back in and limit the quantity.
My enrollment is at 2 or 3, I'm guessing I'll be good.

Hoard the keys.
The eagle has landed - oh wait that was a different mission - Sally Ride has arrived.
I didn't see anything flip this AM
Kinda quiet. I’m striking out on my predictions about the Purple Heart sell out. I’m a collector and not a seller for a reason 😂🙀🦫
