The day after I hit the megamillions or powerball. Otherwise a chunk, but I can work anywhere on the planet.

I used to think I could work anywhere I wanted and did. But not any more. I retired this year and don't know where I could go to work at.

Somewhere between 14 and 19 years depending on when I choose. I will likely scale back closer to the 14 mark and work part time for a while. Other than mortgage which will be paid off within 10 years, I carry no debt so my retirement should have less stress than it could.

I retired from the Air Force ten years ago and went right back to work with Civil Service...then there's my part-time job of 20+ years peddling auto parts. I just don't see myself retiring any time soon.

If you have kids and or grand kids you never get to retire. You just change from one set of duties to another. o:)

Probably about 20yrs. Could be a few more if work things are fun at the time. Could be a few less if non-work things look like they’d be more fun at that time

I don't think I'll ever really "retire" per se... I'll likely stay at my current position for 10 or so more years then maybe ease into consulting and teaching part time....

Probably 20-25 yrs. Now I also usually only work 3 days a week. I would rather have free time while young and work a bit longer. I like my 10 weeks of vacation. Otherwise would not have time to fish

I went to World Headquarters last week to give them my one year notice and that I would be retiring early sometime in 2022. I ended up leaving with a 5 year deal that I couldn't refuse. They keep pulling me back in. 2026 here I come!

Retired early with a 10 hour a week consulting gig I don’t need. Travel and Grandkids are the priority these days!

Retired from my full time job with a early retirement package July 1, 1992, 29 1/2 years ago. Then worked part time for H&R Block during the tax season when it was cold, dark and sometimes wet outside from January 1993 until April 2014. Now I'm so busy doing whatever I want that I can't imagine how I ever had time to work.

Im about 12 years away from retirement. Aside from my full-time job, I also picked up a part-time job that is full remote, working from home. I love both jobs and the flexibility of the part-time gig is a slam dunk!
