That is a historically precipitous and rapid price drop post back order. And for those that want to return, gird your loins for a long drawn out process.

Oh, I recall my last $1200 MINT return like it was yesterday. Took over two weeks to get there, I thought it was lost, and it finally arrived and I wouldn’t have known unless I called.
Took them another two weeks to check it in.
Took them another two weeks after that to admit that they checked it in and then they required me to “request that they issue me a refund.”
Two weeks later I called again and they said “oh, you were supposed to call so we can issue a refund“! Took another week and I got the refund. Whew.
Not worth the anxiety. I will either buy a Mint something I absolutely want and will keep or I will find other means of divestiture.

Yesterdays order has shipped as well, come to poppa.....
Are you sure it actually shipped? You can get a “shipped” notification, but when you enter the tracking number, you might end up with a message like this:

Somehow I was fortunate to be “in” today.....I was able to order the four coin set and a tenth ouncer. I was also “in” and able to order a one ounce as well but passed and opted for the four coin set.
Undecided if I will send them in for grading or sell them.
You better 💩 or get off the pot. If you don’t lock in a sell deal now the buyers will fill up. Probably not an option if you have a back ordered order and not a processing order.
Sounds like some good advice. I have a Gold one ounce V75 graded PR70 I’m sitting on, maybe make a packaged deal .
I was able to get a 1/4 oz this morning. Super happy about that. Thanks to the forum for letting me know about the 7:30am window over the years it’s proven to be quite useful information!
Just checked the Mint Website, my 4 coin set is shipping USPS First Class mail. Doesn't say if there is signature confirmation as only a label has been created at this point. You would think they would use USPS Priority, or maybe FedEx.

As I understand it, a signature confirmation costs an extra $3.95. Did you opt for "signature required" in the "shipping & handling" field during the "checkout" process?

All you guys with shipping notifications must have placed your order within the first 3 minutes right ? I was done ready for coffee at 1103ct and nothing yet. That’s my typical luck with the mint. My neighbor and I both had our 3 silvers shipped the same day he has his mine went from Tennessee to Oklahoma to get to Chicago and is “scheduled “ for delivery Monday.

Received my shipping notification last night and my order went through (by my guessestimate) at 11:02 CT.

Odd, I wonder why that didn't show up on my search.
Nope...that's the sales price - $ 7,499.99 (but it did have Free Shipping!)

Always an outlier.
Current price looks more like $5800 to me today. I wonder if Pinehurst is still buying at +$450
that one shows free local pickup
I've currently been on hold with the MInt for 71 minutes

those have holes sized for bullion coin diameters instead of capsule diameters.

yes, yes it does. Probably explains the single bid.
As I said, most sales between $5600 and $6000 today.
This one will ship at $5400

Still on hold with the Mint: 97 minutes
Yes, they didn't age well. LOL
I assume for cancellations?
if so, what are you giving back?
1/10 oz just shipped

some of these listings are just__ using the word Four instead of the number 4
(should list with both)
I'd say the auctions are also being affected by listing incompetence.
I never cancel. They canceled one of my 4 coin sets. I'm trying to determine why.
I doubt it. The prices are pretty consistent.
How _many _4 coin sets did you try to order? Was it from the Type 2 Gold Eagle yesterday?
Interested to know if/how you got around the HHL

I have multiple households
HHLs lifted!
Me too...when I need to!
My home address can turn my home into a duplex, multiplex, or apartment bldg as needed.

LOL. Yes, they were this morning.
No, they seem to have caught on to that one. Turns out that's why they canceled it. [Thank God! $5055 to try and make $200. I must be crazy.

Apologies to flippers out there but it doesn’t break my heart to see the folks who’s only interest is a quick profit do a flop.
How do you know what anyone's "interest" is? A lot of people buy an extra hoping to offset the cost of the one for their collection.
I'm quite happy with the outcome here.

Was able to order a 2nd 4-coin gold set this morning. PayPal is the way to go!

I missed that one. Thanks for the heads up.
Notified tonight that my 4 coin gold set has shipped. Of course it hasn't really shipped but should by Tuesday.
Since I knew I wasn't going to try to get a set this morning, for fun I thought I'd time the window. Open eighteen seconds.
I saw the 1/10 oz was available on backorder.
It showed the 1/10 and 1/4 oz available on backorder and wouldn't let me put it in my bag. Another frustrating moment with the wonderful mint site.

Processing....

if the button is red and it is not going into the cart, the most likely reason is the item quickly sold out.
no ship notices today?
None here....
For one order, I received a ship notice - that basically just says they printed a label!
For another order - still processing!
BST references available on request
Ship label printed Friday at 3:23 PM EST and still not at post office yet to start the crawl.
One order still processing
Nothing available this AM? Not here anyway.
Got a 1/4 oz this morning.
Had to be a very short window.
It was, I went back for another and they were gone.
I had a 1/4 oz in bag and it was gone before I could get through the check out process.
Received one 1/2 ounce gold today. Another shipped today, and another is showing backordered. All first day orders.
