FWIW, I flew all the way from my home to get to see it at the Portland Money Show. Of course that was back when it still had the Hawaii 5-0 attribution on the holder.
Little did I realize then that seeing the coin would be a precursor to getting the opportunity to appear as a Background Actor on the rebooted Hawaii Five-0 TV Series.
Seriously, since my mother told me never to talk about my money, I won't say if I have $6,000,000 or I don't have it. Either way, I wouldn't spend that much on coins. Just wouldn't. But.....I admire those who have the cash and do! I'd LOVE to own those nickels. Congratulations Mr. Trade Dollar.

two were slabbed, and three were raw

Really, what if you were a Billionaire, $6,000,000 wouldn't be that big of a deal. It might even turn out to be a good investment.
Bruce, over the years I've seen four of them. I may have seen this one at the 2009 ANA in Los Angeles. Yours is top notch; a few of them didn't float my boat. Congrats!

I'm here for membership in the "doesn't own a 1913 V Nickel club"...if I can't gain admittance I'll have to trade my 1912 for the 1913. It's older, so it's probably a fair trade.
Gotta love it!..do what you love as money is only money...betting on yourself and leveling up is an art...I just blew a couple hundo on Amazon, doordash’ed for the 3rd time in 3 hours and cranked the main La-Z-Boy to the 16th degree...talking to my tv while using chopsticks is also fun...God is Great

Incredible to have such an esteemed collector among us on these boards. Very thankful to have @tradedollarnut here sharing with us the iconic coins he has acquired. So much more interesting than hearing that these national treasures are locked away in some historical society/museum.

It was offered by Numismatic Americana a while back and I was thinking about picking it up.
It was done by Max Mehl. Anyone know how many he made?
