I've only tried submitting AU58's to PCGS once for a plus grade. I sent in 12 and none of them upgraded. The '13 S was not in my possession at that time. Maybe someday I'll try again.

I'm not sure why you took my guidelines personally, but I'm sorry you were offended. The thread was started with a specific intent, and I'm to blame for not spelling out those intentions explicitly right at the beginning. It wasn't necessary to remove the image(s) of your coin. I simply wanted to keep the thread focused on its original intent and discourage the posting of extraneous holders going forward.

Okay, I think I have been 24-hours or so between posts.
Here is a mirror proof 1937 Canadian half dollar. The 1937 specimen coins from Canada were almost universally matte pieces, but somewhere between 75-100 sets of mirror pieces were produced. Needless to say, they are pretty scarce. This coin is graded SP67, which is makes it tied with one other coin for the highest graded. Curiously enough, the other coin is also in a PCGS OGH, is also owned by a PCGS board member and is also from a named collection. Mine is Norweb-
Well if nothing else this thread is getting me to shoot some photos of my older slabs. The closeups were done with filters to minimize the hot spots, the slab shot shows the luster better.
Here is a pair I just found in a box. Must have purchased this a while ago. Someone sent the 2 halves to PCGS in the 90s. Consecutive numbers. coins are actually nice 65s, just not wild color. I dont know if this hurts or helps the value of this set. but kind of cool
In recognition of gold having a big day, here's a coin I picked up at least 15 years ago not too long after I returned to the hobby. I wanted to add some gold and found many of the European pieces interesting and available at reasonable premiums to spot. I'm pretty sure I bought this one on eBay.
This is the best Roosevelt dime I’ve ever seen. One day this is going to be in a PCGS MS69 holder.
In the photos is may not look like much, but in hand the coin is pristine.
