Unfortunately...it has a tear on the right side of the pack...but I still like this very difficult 1967 pack.
4th Series...Carl Yastrzemski Series. The pack is the All-Star Pin-Up variation. I always like the artwork on packs which is what attracts me to pack collecting and why I am trying to put together a '60s 5-cent wax pack run printed in the U.S.A. Seven down and three to go...1960, 1965, 1969.
I haven't been around much lately. I got married last month, so it's been busy. I picked these up for my 48 leaf set. Good price on the pair. I think I'm 8 cards away now.
Received these 2 press photos of Patriots greats as freebies from a member on another message board. My dad was a newspaper man and I've worked for a paper for 15 years, so these have extra meaning to me.
My favorites have always been the Odd/Obscure pieces

First --nice cards/purchases LOVE seeing the stuff I don't collect personally posted
Couple Ichiro and Manny Ramirez slabs back. Forgot that Pacific rookie card. He'd have made a horrible MLB shortstop thats for sure . The four of them are all POP 1 with none higher --don't ask me why on the Ichiro that one I have others that will go in so I can upgrade that card. His rookies & Pujols going in a lot later down my pipeline.

More Mo's back from slabbing. When I get Pacific items that grade this high they stay right here
Anyone who has opened Thunder boxes knows they come out of the packs with condition issues pack fresh or not
Scanner doesn't like Gold Team mirror surfaces = had to use the phone to capture that surface !! So mirror shiny can see me in the background
More Boggs from the PC slabbed . The Star #1 I hit a Gem on another recent sub due back so good there on upgrading. The series is plagued with poor centering and corner issues. The Red Refractor has no gems and 7 nines so ok there too. The Pristine ITG jersey was nice I can not worry anymore about getting the spares done. The Colla's been slabbing for a while now from a bunch of unopened boxes I own. The DK and SPX are prone to surface and edge issues no surprise on those I carried them cross country and thru 3 moves.

The baseball Star cards are brutal for grading, I've finally learned to accept 8s may be the best I'll ever see on some. 9s and 10s are true rarities, well done!

I appreciate the complements = they came out of sealed packs I've been toting around for 30+ years in some cases.
Will scan the higher grade ones when I get that far.
These all came from a break of 1990's boxes a while ago. As you can see Fleer was just as lazy as the Topps people in re-using photos as the Fleer Tradition and Fleer Vintage 61 show.
Most are Pop 1 or low pop items. All are going into my Nomar PC registry

Nice Trouts- and that Hovley is off the charts clean with minor tilting -- hows the back ?? Haven't seen one that clean in quite a while. Wish my Red Sox from that set looked that clean

Thanks What's the Hovley? The backs look nice on these cards.

The front of the Hovley has zero tilt, just slightly OC. Maybe you’re seeing the shadow of the post on the left edge. The back is slightly tilted, which I don’t like, but not a deal breaker.

There are a LOT of really tough Bosox in this set. These three are all super tough and I feel very fortunate to have found nice copies. Danny Cater and Eddie Kasko are tough too, I haven’t found a nice copy of either one yet.
Yes they are extremely tough to find clean.- nice !!! My RS PC is private but mines not that good compared to some yet its stuff I saved for years so means a lot to me personally.
About a month ago some may remember the Vlad Sr I got back included a 2000 Pacific Prism Holographic Gold
Well more of his stuff came back in spurts. More of the 2000 Pacific variations. Got tons more to send in.
And I didnt really feel old until I saw Vlad Seniors date of birth and realized his kid is in MLB. And realized I saw the old mans entire career
Stuffed my face with pizza to drown my old man sorrows - didn't feel old til I realized that little nugget.

On another note got back a Bonds from the Colla box break and a loose Jeter from the traveling boxes.
And someone PM me on how many slabs I'm behind scanning. A lot is all I'll admit to. Couple months worth of traveling back and forth to storage, and back home, and back again to storage , and home again and back to storage. I keep very little here its a small apartment can't really scan more than 100 at a whack every week or so.
I sent in a lot when they ran that $7.50 special . Need to make up lost time selling stuff and sending money/cards to people I like

I added the two Robinson cards to my 1970 HOF set. The 1969 McCovey All Star is an upgrade for my set. The Clemente is a new addition to my collection. The Durocher was bought by accident as I already have a 9 in my set.
Some great cards being shown A little while ago posted some of the progress on slabbing all the Finest cards starting with Bagwells and Biggios
More Bagwells from 1997 returned. Prior to this posted the 1997 bronze ( common) and the silver (uncommon)
Todays post is showing the Gold ( rare) versions. Sadly I don't own an embossed refractor of him (yet)
I also have the promo at grading and have to locate a suitable rare refractor as well
I also got back a few of the 1998's that were in the sub along with a while bunch of 1999 I have to scan

I upgraded two cards to my 86 Fleer basketball set, the Webb was an 8.5 and the Mullin an 8
Found this monster recently. Would need a 9 to not go broke for what I paid though.
PERFECTLY CENTERED!!!

Shout out both to you and Fleer.
Such a great image they went with for the lil guy. And he’s still a good foot over the rim!

Picked up this hard to find iconic 70's WAX box from the BBCE website a few weeks ago. Love 76 Football !!

Like the look of the 1999 Fleer vintage - did not know those existed.
Those came 1 per pack in 1999 Fleer Tradition- and yes I love the retro look myself
I have others slabbed- heres my Helton
Nice copy of very tough low pop ‘72 which puts me over the 50% mark for the set... 🎊
@PaulMaul - THAT is a sharp looking vintage card!!
my mail day.

Been on a shiny stuff and basketball kick recently. Lukas got two triple-doubles in two games so I'm very bullish on him this season.
The Fun Guy Kawhi is #'d 2/7 which is pretty cool since it's his jersey # (EBAY 1 of 1??????).
